Did Marco turn back into a human at the end of Porco Rosso? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There will obviously be some spoilers for the movie in this post, as well. Although Marco's human face is seen a few times throughout the movie, he's usually seen as a pig. This is why he was called Porco instead of Marco. However, it's hinted at the end of the movie that Fio's kiss turned him back into a normal human. This is only shown once though, so many people wonder if that meant he actually changed back or not. On the other hand, some people believe that it's Fio's kiss and Gina's love that turned him back, even though Fio loved him too. I personally think it's pretty obvious that Marco turned back into his normal self at the end of the movie, but it's harder to say why this happened. Many people loved Porco, so it wasn't the love itself that changed him back. It could've been Fio's intention, or it could just be that Marco no longer saw himself as a pig. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
