3, 2, 1, post time! The blog post for today will be about a news article. Although news articles generally don't have anything to do with anime, this particular article is talking about an anime related topic. According to it, a public school has recently had students writing in their own Death Notes. Even though this seems harmless, they're taking it very seriously. As ridiculous as this situation sounds, it isn't the first time it has happened. Not only have students been punished for using homemade Death Notes in America, but China ended up banning the notebooks because of these issues. These homemade Death Notes are harmless on their own, but the intent behind them worries people. Anyone who is writing names in any sort of Death Note is doing so because they know what it means. Whether they actually want something to happen or not isn't really relevant in a situation like this, because they know a Death Note can kill someone and they're still willing to use it. Even if Death Notes don't really exist, it's the thought of wanting these people dead. But, I digress. As always, I will be including the link for the article below so you all can read it for yourselves. Enjoy!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about a new Sanrio collection. Although this collection has been out for a little bit, it was just recently released on the English Sanrio store. This collection is called Midnight MeloKuro, and it features My Melody and Kuromi. Along with this, it's based on gothic lolita fashion. Although there aren't many pieces in this collection at the moment, it's still being added. Midnight MeloKuro features gothic lolita based accessories, and each accessory comes in two forms. Kuromi's side of the collection comes in black, and My Melody's side comes in pink. Currently, the accessories are nearly identical; with their only differences being the characters and colors. However, there may be other unique accessories revealed later. As always, I will be including the link for the products below so you all can check them out yourselves. Enjoy!

Are there other spirits in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There will be spoilers in this post though, so proceed with caution. For those of you who don't know, Venti was originally a small anemo spirit. He was rather weak in this form, and he didn't look anything like he does now. However, he's currently the only one who ever looked like this. So, could there be other spirits? It's actually kind of difficult to say. There could have been other elemental spirits at some point, including other anemo spirits. But since things are much different now, there may not be any left. At the moment, the only thing that looks even vaguely similar is abyss mages; which wouldn't have even been around at the same time as Venti. For all we know, the Seelies we see may be the remaining traces of those elemental spirits. They do come in different elemental forms, and they didn't always look the way they do now. On the other hand, Venti may have been the only elemental spirit to look that way. Either way, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! As a little bonus, I will be including a picture of spirit Venti below. Enjoy!

What time is it? Post time! Today's blog post will be a list of three cuddly Pokemon, along with a picture of each. I'll also be including a reason for why each one is on this list. There isn't really a reason for this list, other than the fact that I just wanted to make it. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Flareon - Soft, fluffy, and immensely warm. Practically the perfect cuddle buddy.

2.) Wooloo - A bouncy, fluffy ball. It isn't super small, but it'd be great to cuddle with; especially since it's so cute.

3.) Swinub - Small, fuzzy, and vaguely pillow shaped. Good to lean on, or hug. This adorable little pig would be a great snuggle bud.

It's list time! For today's blog post, I will be listing five reasons why you shouldn't kill Timmie's pigeons in Genshin Impact. Yes, this is a topic I've talked about multiple times. No, I will not stop defending this literal child. Pallad can fend for himself though. Now then, on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) The pigeons are one of the only things Timmie has.

2.) Since Timmie is a child, you, the player, should take the moral high ground.

3.) Even though it seems like a great way to get revenge on him for his somewhat snarky attitude, he's still learning to be polite.

4.) The pigeons respawn anyways, so it's kind of a waste of time.

5.) Bullying a virtual child for fun doesn't actually do anything. Besides, he doesn't even have any reactions for if you do kill them or not.

It's time for another list! I don't normally discuss personal things on here, but I'd like to give the reasoning for today's list. You see, today was a rather off day for me. In fact, my life has been rather off for a while now. It was especially difficult to think of a blog post for you all today, and it took me hours to think of one. No matter how many things I thought of, none of them interested me. So instead, I decided to list three cute anime characters for you all; along with a picture of each. I hope this helps you all have a better day than my own. Enjoy!

1.) Kanna from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

2.) Kuro in his cat form from Servamp

3.) Hamtaro with a leaf, obviously from Hamtaro

What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I'll be giving my opinion on the show Fire Force. Fire Force is a shounen anime, and it's available English subbed and dubbed on funimation. I actually really like this show. It has a bit of everything. It's pretty funny at some points, the action is great, and it has a really solid story. The characters are also fun and unique; and even the side characters have good personalities. The pacing is also pretty good, and the episodes are easy to follow. The fan service can be a bit much, but it doesn't distract from the show too much. All in all, I would highly recommend this show. It may seem like just a normal shounen anime, but it's actually pretty unique. But, these are just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about three Mondstadt NPCs who are treated unfairly in Genshin Impact. These NPCs are either treated unfairly by the game, the fan base, or both. So, I'll be giving an explanation for each one. Now then, let's get on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Nimrod - If it isn't bad enough that his name is Nimrod, the other citizens of Mondstadt are always nagging him for his drinking. Yes, alcoholism is bad. But to be fair, Mondstadt is known for its wine.

2.) Reckless Pallad - It's unclear why so many fans dislike Pallad. Maybe it's because he's annoying, maybe it's because he's clumsy. Either way, reckless is right there in his name.

3.) Timmie - This poor child is already upset over losing his dad. But to make matters worse, fans just love killing his innocent little pigeons. Fans started picking on him because he can be pretty rude. However, he is still a child. A small, grieving child.

It's time for yet another new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Old Mondstadt from Genshin Impact. I really like Old Mondstadt, so this is like an appreciation post. You see, Stormterror's Lair is the previous capital of Mondstadt. Although the current people only know it as Stormterror's Lair, the old ruins are still quite visible. This was the Mondstadt capital under Decarabian's rule, and some of his anemo energy can still be found within. Old Mondstadt also has an amazing atmosphere. It's very melancholic, and nothing remains but ruins and monsters. The sorrow filled music only adds to it, and it never changes; even when you're being attacked by monsters. When walking through Old Mondstadt, you can feel the sad history even if you don't know it. That sounds strange, but it's true. I could feel the sadness of this place even before I knew what it was. Despite all of this, it's actually one of my least favorite places to go. Even though it's beautiful, being there is still a sad experience. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Are the enemies in Kirby games actually just residents? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although that seems like a silly question, it is a possibility. In some of the games, Kirby shows up to unknown worlds and intervenes without any prior knowledge of the area. In more recent games, it shows that Waddle Dees, as well as some others, are actually friendly creatures. Along with this, Awoofys can be seen acting less than aggressive in Kirby And The Forgotten Land. They can be seen sleeping, waiting in lines, and even sitting with food in the food courts. The floating cat creatures known as Scarfys are also always in their friendly forms before Kirby attacks them. Even though some enemies do attack Kirby, there could be an explanation for it. They could be guarding things, or just accidentally hurting Kirby. This means there's a good chance the common enemies you face throughout the games are just locals of the area. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! I suppose it's time to talk about the elephant in the room, Sora's shoes. First of all, yes, I did need to make that joke. Secondly, I'm talking about Sora's shoes because fans have recently become upset about them. For those of you who don't know, Sora was originally loosely based on Mickey Mouse. This is why he wore red and had such big yellow shoes. He was also designed in a way that allowed him to blend in with both the anime designs, as well as the cartoony Disney designs. However, a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV shows him wearing normal shoes. Although fans shouldn't care about this, they were so caught off-guard that they aren't even excited for the new game. But before we complain further about this awful design choice, we should consider something. There's a chance this new design is either exclusive for one or more of the available worlds in the game, or it's temporarily changed until Sora can reach his home world. There's nothing saying this new design is permanent. It's true Sora's shoes are iconic, but this was really just the first look at the new game. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I just wanted to discuss it because I thought it was a pretty silly topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! Today's blog post will be about a Porco Rosso fan art. Although I don't usually talk about fan art on here, I found this one pretty interesting. This piece of fan art was originally posted on reddit by the user Irbif. This piece of Porco Rosso fan art is pixel art, and it's based on old video games. Although it's relatively simple, it was very well received. It's also extremely well done, and it's easy to see how much work was put into it. As always, I will be including the picture below; as well as the original source link. So please support the original artist! Enjoy!

It's time for another new post! The blog post for today will be about nightcore. Now, I do hear you. What does this have to do with anime? After all, nightcore is just taking music from any genre and speeding it up. However, the videos of nightcore music always have anime characters in them. It's unclear when this started, since it seems like this has always been the trend. The music itself usually has nothing to do with the anime characters in the video, so why do they use them at all? The answer is, the appeal. If an anime fan sees a character they like or recognize, they'll be more likely to click on the video. Even if they don't recognize the character, sometimes they just like them. For example, I found Kanato Sakamaki accidentally from a song on youtube. I didn't know who he was, but I clicked on the video to see if I could find out who he was. Had he not been in the thumbnail, I wouldn't have listened to the song at all. This is why people use anime characters in nightcore videos. Along with this, anime characters have become heavily associated with nightcore. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I just wanted to discuss it after seeing just how many nightcore videos had anime characters in them. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's Easter! But it's also, Xiao's birthday. So to celebrate, I present to you all, bunny Xiao. That's right! I went and found two fan arts of Xiao with bunny ears specifically for this occasion. I will obviously be including the pictures below. However, I will also be including the source links so you can all support the original artists! Enjoy! Happy Easter everyone!

Why do I like Kazuaki-kun? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post. There will be some Hatoful Boyfriend spoilers though, so proceed with caution. For those of you who don't know, Kazuaki-kun is the actual Kazuaki. He grew up in an easy life, and became severely depressed when that life turned sour. He became hopeless, and grew to hate himself. He didn't like taking care of himself, and would often say he wanted to die. When actually presented with the option though, he would cry and say it was too scary. He's very emotional, and many people say he's pathetic. These are reasons why people generally don't like him. On the contrary, this is why I do like him. I heavily relate to when he was depressed, and I don't think his sensitivity is a bad thing. It's actually good that he's sensitive, and his clinginess towards Hitori is just because of how alone he is. It may be annoying, but it isn't a bad thing. He needed that person, and it helped him immensely in the mirror timeline. However, it was used against him in the current timeline. This just goes to show that he can improve with help, which is another reason why I like him. He's relatable for me, and he's often misunderstood. Many people look down on him and call him pathetic, but I don't agree with them at all. Really, he's just a confused person who only wanted the pain to end. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I suppose there's no real reason for this post. It was just something I wanted to talk about. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed it.

It's time for a list! So, today I will be listing three dark-type Pokemon I like; along with a picture of each. There isn't really a reason for this list. I just wanted to list a few dark-type Pokemon I like. Now then, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Umbreon

2.) Absol

3.) Zorua

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about live action anime adaptations. For those of you who don't know, it's actually quite common for anime to get live action adaptations. However, fans often tend to dislike this greatly. This is mostly because anime is watched for more than just its story. Many people love the expressiveness of the art, especially with things like Studio Ghibli. There are many things you can do in an animated setting that you can't do with live action versions. Not only can it be less expressive, but the characters no longer feel like themselves. This is why many anime fans just don't like live action adaptations. They generally don't do well at all, but for some reason they keep making them. Original works can be absolutely beautiful and fantastic. But if you take something that already exists and make it something it isn't, then you'll have to deal with the backlash that comes from the pre-existing fans. Instead of making a good movie or show of your own that people will like, you're instead making something that has to compete with the original. This is another reason why people often don't like these. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. No matter how many people dislike this, companies will still keep doing it in hopes of making any money off of it. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Is Pikachu really that great? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Everyone knows Pikachu. He has a ton of merchandise, he's the mascot of the series, and he's one of the only Pokemon that even non-Pokemon fans know. But, is he really that great? Many fans will say he is. Whether it be the nostalgia, or the familiarity, almost everyone loves Pikachu. But had he not been made the mascot of the series, then he wouldn't be any different from other Pokemon. Obviously that goes without saying, but it's also more than true. Pikachu is a middle evolution, and the only one people pay attention to is Ash's Pikachu. In fact, many people don't even know that Pikachu is one of the only Pokemon with gender-specific traits. Male Pikachu have lightning bolt shaped tails, and female Pikachu have heart shaped tails. The only reason Pikachu is so popular is because of how much he's promoted. Since he's Pokemon's main Pokemon, he gets promoted everywhere. Despite this, almost no one picks Pikachu as their favorite Pokemon. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Is Ditto the best Pokemon? Well, the answer to that is no, subjectively. But it can be every Pokemon. It can also be trainers, as well as inanimate objects. Although the plushies of ditto mimicking other Pokemon always keep the ditto face, a well-trained Ditto will mimic things exactly. Despite this, Ditto generally isn't given much attention. Fans love it, and it gets new products all the time. However, it's barely ever actually talked about. It barely shows up in the anime, and people don't care if it's in the games or not. When it is in the games, people generally just use it instead of treating it like a normal Pokemon. So even though this Pokemon is pretty popular and well-known, it isn't given a lot of attention. Even though Ditto is a cool Pokemon who can be pretty much anything, it's still often forgotten. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be listing five incredibly loyal anime characters; along with a picture of each. There are many different anime with many different characters, but some of them are amazingly loyal. They care about their loved ones immensely, and they're there for them no matter what. So, I've decided to list a few of them today. Enjoy!

1.) Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto

2.) Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail

3.) Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece

4.) Hamtaro from Hamtaro

5.) Pikachu from Pokemon

It's time for another new blog post! With another new Pokemon game in the works, I think it's important to remind everyone to be weary of leaks. Most of the time they aren't true, and they can get your hopes up for things that won't happen. For example, many people like making fan art of what the final evolutions for new Pokemon could look like; only to have someone take it and pass it off as a leak. Alleged "leakers" have also been saying there will be one or more new Eevee evolutions for multiple Pokemon generations, but we all know this hasn't happened yet. Even though some leaks may turn out to be true, believing in leaks that have yet to be proven usually ends in disappointment. I've talked about this before, but decided to mention it again because new "leaks" are starting to pop up for Scarlet and Violet. I know it can be difficult to wait at times, but I find it's best to wait until the Pokemon company reveals things themselves. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's list time! For today's blog post, I will be listing five Pokemon questions we still don't have answers to. The Pokemon fanbase has a lot of various questions, but I won't be listing the popular ones. Instead, I'll be listing some of the ones I've seen before or thought of myself. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Why is Eevee's DNA so unstable?

2.) Why do so many Pokemon become bipedal?

3.) Can a Pokemon become a human?

4.) What does Cubone really look like?

5.) Why can a Gardevoir be male?
(As a little context for this one, Gallade can only be male; but Gardevoir can be male or female.)

Will we ever see an NPC get a vision in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, visions are said to be given out to people throughout Teyvat who have strong ambitions. However, the traveler has met quite a few NPCs with strong ambitions who haven't received visions. So, does this mean we'll eventually get to see an NPC receive a vision? That's actually pretty difficult to say. Some of the adventurers with strong ambitions are proud to be doing things without a vision. On the other hand, others say they would love a vision. It would be amazing to see a seemingly normal NPC suddenly get recognized and given a vision. Not only would it be great for the story, but it would also help the fans understand exactly how the characters get their visions. I've seen a few people mention that it would be funny if a normal character suddenly got a flashier hairstyle and outfit just because they got a vision, as well. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Although it would be great to see an NPC receive a vision, it's difficult to really say if we'll ever actually see this. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Is Kirby secretly the villain? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Ah Kirby, the cute little lovable pink orb that almost everyone knows. This cute little poyo boy can do no wrong. Or can he? Although Kirby generally seems harmless, he can actually be quite brutal. He goes to new lands and sucks up or knocks out pretty much any living creature he finds there. Although he's learned to make friends with some of them, he otherwise just assumes they're evil. Kirby has created chaos over something as simple as food before, and he easily takes the side of anyone who asks for his help first. Even though that doesn't really make him a villain, it doesn't make him a hero either. Kirby is more neutral than anything, and he does things only if it benefits himself or the people he's helping. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I thought this would be a fun topic to discuss after someone jokingly mentioned it. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new post! So for today's blog post, I will be listing five Vocaloid songs that help me cope. Sometimes things just aren't going well, and it's normal to have those bad times. Since I've been feeling down myself, I've decided to share some of my coping songs with you all. Although I listen to the English covers of these songs, I do recommend the original Japanese as well. Enjoy!

1.) Rolling Girl

2.) Tokyo Teddy Bear

3.) Love Me, Love Me, Love Me (Aishite, Aishite, Aishite)

4.) Miss Wanna Die (Shinitai-Chan)

5.) Bad Apple
(This one is actually a Touhou song, but it's been covered by Vocaloids many times.)

Tuesday, April 5, 2022

What is Cubone? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Cubone is a baby Pokemon who wears a skull. Although it's been confirmed this skull it wears belonged to its dead mother, no one really knows what Cubone is. It wouldn't really make sense that it's just the child of a Marowak, because then there wouldn't be many female Marowaks left; if any. This is because every Cubone has a skull, which means every Marowak can only have one child before passing on. This would also make Cubone and Marowak very rare, since their population would dwindle quickly. Many people have theorized that Cubone is actually the child of Kangaskhan, which would make quite a bit more sense. Since nobody has really seen what it looks like underneath the skull yet, it could very well be a Kangaskhan baby. This would also explain why it's so attached to its mother. However, a Cubone has been shown to have a Marowak mother before. This may be a mistake, or Cubone might really just be the child of a Marowak. Either way, it doesn't seem like we'll be getting a definitive answer any time soon. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for a new list! Since I've been pretty down recently, I've decided to make a somewhat sad list today. I will be listing five impactful deaths in Death Note, as well as an explanation for each one. Keep in mind these won't be in any order, and there will be spoilers ahead. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) L - Many fans were upset by this death, including myself. Even though this one really upset me, it also took the series in a whole new direction. Although I like some of the new characters that were introduced after, the feel of the series wasn't quite the same.

2.) Mello - This one was just, really a shame. Not only was he still pretty young, but he had so much potential. Killing him off so early on was, disappointing, to say the least.

3.) Matt - No one even got to know this character. He was young, and Mello's friend. A few things were known about him, but barely anything of note. This one just sucked.

4.) Soichiro Yagami - Light's dad was probably one of the best characters. Yes he was oblivious, but all in all he just wanted the best for everyone. With everything he did and everything he lived for, this one was hard to see.

5.) Rem - This one is just a slap in the face, honestly. She sacrificed herself for someone who wouldn't even miss her. It may have been her choice to make, but it still wasn't really called for. It's hard to say if her sacrifice even impacted Misa at all.

Is it morally wrong to kill monsters in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! But before I continue, there will be some pretty major spoilers ahead. So, proceed with caution! For those of you who don't know, there are many various monsters in Genshin Impact. There are elemental creatures like slimes and whopperflowers, and there are organic beings like hilichurls. Since the game forces you to fight all of these creatures, of course it wouldn't make you feel bad for it. Except, it does. All of the different types of hilichurls are often hinted at having a higher intelligence. They have their own language, and they'll even talk with people if approached kindly. Later on in the game, it was revealed that this is because they are the cursed people of Khaenri'ah. Although this is bad enough, this also goes for the abyss monsters like the mages and heralds. Even though elemental creatures seem to be rather hostile on their own, it's hard to tell if they're really just scared or not. With all of this information, it's safe to say it feels wrong to go around fighting these things for no reason. Yes they attacked first, but really they did have a good reason. As the game progresses, it just makes you feel worse for fighting all of them too. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. However, I do feel like it's a cruel joke to make you fight monsters and then feel bad for doing so. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun. Welcome To Demon School Iruma-kun is an anime that is based on the manga of the same name. This show follows a 14 year old boy named Iruma. When Iruma's parents sell his soul to a demon for money, Iruma is thrown into a terrifying situation. Upon finding out the demon only wanted to adopt him as his grandson, Iruma agrees and is enrolled into the top demon school. Although his new grandfather dotes on him excessively, Iruma must still keep the other demons from finding out he's a human. This show is a slice-of-life with some comedy mixed in. It currently has two seasons, and it seems to be pretty well-received. If any of you are interested in this show, it's currently available English subbed and dubbed on crunchyroll.

What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about a blade of grass from Naruto Shippuden. With how much work grass does, it's amazing how few people give it the recognition it deserves. This particular blade of grass didn't show up for very long, but it made the scene so much more powerful. This show could barely exist without this blade of grass. For a simple one-off character, it was amazing. It changed the whole tone of that scene. That may sound like an overstatement, but I assure you it was phenomenal. As always, I will be including a picture of this blade of grass below; as well as a picture of the scene it was in. Enjoy! Happy April Fools Day everyone!

The blade of grass.

The blade of grass with its co-star, Naruto Uzumaki.
