What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about what Silver from Twisted Wonderland is based on. For those of you who don't know, the characters in Twisted Wonderland are based on Disney villains. However, sometimes it's a bit difficult to tell who or what the characters are based on. Many fans believe he's based on the sword used against Maleficent in the original movie. However, I disagree. Firstly, it wouldn't make sense for a "villain" character to be based on the hero's sword. Secondly, it's more likely he's based on the spinning wheel. He falls asleep often, which is a nod to the sleeping curse from Sleeping Beauty. He's also heavily associated with Malleus, who is based on Maleficent herself. Although he may have some traits that are based on other things, it makes more sense for him to be based on something associated with the villain of the story. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I wanted to talk about this because many fans say he's based on the sword or a dagger, when really that just doesn't make sense.
