Is Animal Crossing made for adults or children? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although Animal Crossing can be played by anyone, it's actually made for adults. Since it's such a cute and child friendly game, this may seem surprising. But it's true. The player character is an adult, as well as the villagers. Which is why some villagers will talk about when they were children and teenagers. It's also why they live alone, and why the player character lives alone. It helps people adjust to growing up, living alone, and making new friends as an adult. Animal Crossing New Horizons helped with this as well, since it encouraged players to connect with their friends during their free time. Even though children can play the games, they were always for adults. I like the fact that a game targeted towards adults is still bright, colorful, and family friendly. It helps people feel safe and comfortable even though they aren't children anymore. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
