Why is the Mario Kart series still called Mario Kart? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! The Mario Kart series has been around for a long time now. But at this point, the series is known more for the other Nintendo series it includes. Although it does still feature Mario characters and tracks, it's more like a big crossover series now. However, I think fans would be disappointed if they changed the name now. I understand why they still call it Mario Kart even though it also includes a lot of other series. It's also mostly still centered around Mario, so there's no reason to change the name now. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Since the Mario Kart games have become known for the addition of other Nintendo characters, I wanted to talk about why it's still considered a Mario game.
