Is there anything wrong with leaks? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, a leak is when someone spreads unreleased information about an upcoming project. It happens a lot with videogames, but it's extremely common with Pokemon. People will often leak things they're excited about for other fans who are also excited. However, this isn't a good thing. Not only do leaks spoil things other fans would rather wait for, but it also sometimes causes changes in development. That's right, sometimes when something is leaked, the company will change what was leaked to avoid the leaks being true. Sometimes they'll change stories, switch character designs, or remove things altogether. Because of this, I don't think leaks are a good thing. It's fun to see what will be created or released in the future, but we should be patient and wait for official reveals instead of taking the information ahead of time. Leaking important things spoils it for a lot of people, and it isn't always easy to avoid things after they start spreading. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
