It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Raymond's glasses in Animal Crossing New Horizons. For those of you who don't know, Raymond wears special glasses that you can't actually get in the game. This has always bothered me because those are actually based on a very popular type of glasses. It wouldn't be difficult to add them to the game either, because the simple sunglasses already use these frames. All they would have to do is remove the lenses from those frames, which I think is likely what they did for Raymond's glasses, since they look almost exactly like the simple sunglasses. It's so disappointing to know they could have added this popular glasses shape to the game, but they didn't. I also hate the argument that they could add it to a later game because not everyone can afford to immediately buy the next game, especially with recent prices. It's also difficult to just move on to a whole new game after spending so much time and effort building the island and becoming friends with the villagers. Why does it matter if the next game has it if this game doesn't, when this game is the one everyone already owns? But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
