Why are there suddenly alien cats everywhere? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Alien cats have started widely spreading through multiple fandoms. So what are they and where did they come from? This is actually a pretty easy answer. This started with a Roblox game called Regretevator. It features an alien character called Gnarpy, who also looks like a cat. Their original design is the one seen the most often, but their design has been changed since then. Their original simple design inspired other people to make art of alien cats, and it's spread quickly because of how easy it is. This, along with the edit of the real cat that was made to look like an alien cat, is likely where all of this started. Now there are alien cats everywhere. Normally I would be including a picture of the original Gnarpy below, but their creator is in quite a bit of trouble, and I'd rather not support them.
