Why aren't there more shark Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There are over a thousand different Pokemon, but there are barely any sharks. Of course there's also a lack of other animals, but it's a bit odd to not have more sharks with how popular they are. There are many other types of aquatic Pokemon, but hardly any sharks. Despite this, there are many different types of sharks that would be good to base a Pokemon off of. It would also be fun to see a cute shark Pokemon, since the ones we have right now aren't really cute. With how many fish Pokemon there are, it's surprising to see only two Pokemon lines based on sharks. Of course there's only one dolphin line as well, but there are far less things you can base on dolphins as opposed to sharks. This may seem like an oddly specific post, but there are actually quite a few fans that are disappointed by the lack of shark Pokemon. I hope in the future there will be more Pokemon based on new and different animals, instead of the same few animals they usually use. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
