Why is Ranfren getting popular in the anime community? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Ranfren is a webcomic. It isn't anime based, nor is it based in Japan. Despite this, it seems to be rather popular in the anime community. Why is this? Personally, I think it's because the Ranfren comics have a lot of anime references. There are a ton of them scattered throughout the comics, which likely draws in anime fans. Randal also wears a Japanese uniform, which probably draws more people in because he's the main character. There are also some characters who are reminiscent of anime characters, as well. Because of this, it's easy to see why it's becoming popular with anime fans, even if it's a bit strange. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
