Will there ever be a new Pokemon type? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Pokemon is known for its unique set of types. Each Pokemon has a type, which controls how they will battle. They can have one or two types, and some special Pokemon can even change what type they are. Most of the types we have now are the originals, with the fairy-type being the newest permanent Pokemon type. After this addition, there wasn't ever another permanent type. Of course there is the new stellar-type, but that isn't a permanent type that Pokemon can naturally have. I think adding one or two new Pokemon types would refresh the old battle system, which keeps things fresh for new and old fans. With the introduction of the unconventional stellar-type, there's a good chance more temporary or permanent types will be added in future games. I'd like to see this if it does ever happen, since it would be fun to see what they could come up with. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
