Why is it important for games to have ways to buy more than one item at a time? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! In videogames, it's normal and expected to be able to choose how many things you buy in a game. Nobody ever really even thinks about it, which is why it was so surprising when Animal Crossing didn't have this. I'm not going to talk about that again, because everyone already knows that's a bad thing. But why is it bad? Well, playing games is supposed to be fun. But shopping is boring. So if you have to buy things one at a time, you're not going to want to buy anything anymore. It'll make the game boring, and eventually people will lose interest. And if nobody wants to play, then there won't be any customers. No customers means no money, and no money means no new games. So leaving out one important feature can end up having a lot of bad side effects. Especially since in the age of the internet, people can review games before they buy them so they don't have to waste their time with it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
