Will there be more regional variants for Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, some newer generations of Pokemon games have introduced regional variants. These are Pokemon from other previous generations that look differently based on the new area they're in. There have been quite a few different regional variants now, and it seems like more will continue to be released. Regional variants are a good way of rereleasing an old Pokemon in a new way. It also lets old Pokemon get new evolutions. Along with this, they seem to be rather popular and well-received within the Pokemon fandom. Because of this, I think there will likely be more made for other Pokemon. Regional variants are an easy way to release "new" Pokemon while still adding a new twist to older lesser known Pokemon. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
