It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about one of my least favorite things about the villagers in Animal Crossing New Horizons. There is a wide variety of villagers in this game, and each one is unique and special in their own way. However, each one is also given a personality type. This means that they also share certain dialogues. Although this makes it easier to make more villagers, it also breaks the immersion. If you have more than one villager from the same personality type on your island, it's a bit frustrating to get the same comments from two separate characters. I'm sure this was done as a type of shortcut to encourage players to get different personalities on their islands, but some popular villagers are from the same personality types. For example, Marshal and Raymond are both smug characters. So if someone has both of these villagers, then they'll end up getting the same lines from both of them. It's a small issue, since most of the dialogue options are unique. But it's still a bit frustrating at times. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
