It's Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone! For this year's post, I'll be talking about the Pokemon Delibird. Now, I decided to talk about Delibird today because this Pokemon is pretty clearly based on Santa. It prefers the cold, and its tail resembles a bag. It's even called the delivery Pokemon. But instead of presents, Delibird carries around food and gives it to anyone who needs it. This Pokemon has become really closely associated with Christmas, which is a good thing because it's practically the Christmas Pokemon. Usually when people start looking for festive Pokemon, Delibird is one of the first ones mentioned. I'm not entirely sure why a Pokemon based on Santa was ever created, but it's still fun for the season. I'd like to see more holiday Pokemon in the future, as well.
