It's post time! Today's blog post will be about the personalities in Animal Crossing New Horizons. For those of you who don't know, Animal Crossing villagers have set personalities that they share, and they're divided by gender. However, I think this is very limiting. There already aren't a lot of personalities to pick from, so limiting them by gender just makes things even less diverse. I say this because there's a few villagers who were given personalities that don't match their designs because of their gender. I think the best example of this is Sasha. He looks like he'd be a peppy villager because of his design. Peppy villagers often talk about music, videogames, and pop culture. I think this would suit him really well. But because he's a male villager, they made him lazy instead. I'm sure there's quite a few examples of this, but there's too many villagers to know them all. I think it would be fun to see a girl jock, a snooty boy, and other villagers with different personalities. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested in this, either. It's disappointing that we'll probably never see this, but I hope it can happen one day. There's so many more possibilities if the creators stop dividing personalities by gender. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
