Why were people so upset about the AI images that were based on Studio Ghibli? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, AI art is trained by getting data from human made art and then recreating it. This is why people don't like when others use AI art. But it's more troubling with things like Studio Ghibli. Studio Ghibli is known for the heart and soul that's been put into it. It's different when someone creates art based on Studio Ghibli, because that artist is still putting their heart, time, and effort into the piece they're creating. But AI doesn't do that. It's just a cheap imitation. It's an insult to the original art it's stealing from. That's why so many people were against it. I understand not everyone can draw as well as others can. So if you want to use AI art personally, it's not as bad. However, I do recommend learning to create things on your own. It's much more rewarding and it looks a lot better, in my opinion.
