It's time for another new post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the unbalanced number of characters in Genshin Impact. More specifically, I'll be talking about the lack of male characters. This may be a bit unjustified since there are still a few archons and characters we've yet to see. However, the remaining archons are already confirmed to be females. That means the first two archons we met are the only two male archons in all of Teyvat. This is actually why so many fans were upset when the dendro archon was also a girl. Since everyone thought the dendro archon would be a boy, it was a huge disappointment to learn that every other archon would be female. With the lack of male characters we already have, it's even more disappointing knowing even the archons will be girls. Not only is this unfair for all of the fans who look forward to male characters, but it just means there's even less of a possibility for getting more male characters. For every five or six girl characters we get, we only get one male character. Along with this, most of the male gods who have been mentioned in the story, are already dead. So not only are the characters already unbalanced, but there aren't even half as many male archons as female archons. Even the previous dendro archon was a girl, and Inazuma also had two female archons. As of right now, we don't even have a small boy character. But with the addition of Dori and Nahida, there are now five small girl characters. I suppose I'm just complaining again, but it really isn't fair. There are girl characters that I like, but I'm getting sick of all the waifus. There are so many they're starting to copy each other. That's too many. There's too many. I don't think it's too much to ask for more male characters to at least balance it out a little. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
