Why does Madame Ping look old in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There may be some spoilers, though. So proceed with caution. For those of you who don't know, Madame Ping is an adeptus who lives in Liyue Harbor. She takes care of Yanfei, and she appears to be an old lady. However, that wouldn't make sense at all. Adepti don't age very much at all, even when they've lived for thousands of years. Even Ganyu still looks very young, even though she's only half adeptus. Some people have theorized that adepti who live with humans age more quickly. However, Ganyu disproves this too. She has closely worked with humans in Liyue Harbor for many generations. The only logical explanation for Madame Ping's appearance is, she just chooses to look like this. It could be to blend in with humans better, but it could just be so she can live a peaceful live. It may also be a form of punishment for herself, since she said she was vain in her youth because she was beautiful. If she wanted to, Madame Ping could easily look like herself again. She just chooses not to. There is a chance we'll get to see her in her normal form sometime in the future, and some players are even hoping she'll be a playable character. However, I somehow doubt this will happen. After all, we still haven't even seen the human forms of the other adepti. Since the adepti are pretty mysterious, there's a lot we don't yet know about them. These are mostly just my thoughts on this topic, anyways. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!
