Why do Pokemon fans dislike some baby Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Usually baby Pokemon are pretty widely loved. They're small, cute, and popular. But why are some of them disliked? It's because not all baby Pokemon are original. Some Pokemon didn't get pre-evolutions until long after they were released. Adding an evolution later on makes sense. But adding a pre-evolution is just silly. It's completely unrealistic to think these Pokemon have been fully grown every single time they were ever seen. It's especially strange in the Pokemon world, since trainers often prefer catching and raising baby Pokemon to strengthen their bond. There are even trainers who specialize in Pokemon breeding, which makes it even more ridiculous to imply there are baby Pokemon that trainers have never seen. It just doesn't make sense, so a lot of people don't like when this happens. I tend to agree with this argument, since it really doesn't make sense to suddenly create a baby Pokemon for a pre-existing evolution line for no reason. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! I recently talked about Homestuck on here because of the recent release of the pilot. A lot of anime fans were in this fandom when it was first releasing, so I figured I'd talk about it despite never reading the webcomic. But now I've been reading it for a while, and I'd like to say some things. Firstly, if you're an anime fan, I wouldn't say this comic would appeal to you for that reason. The art style is nowhere close to an anime art style, and there are barely any references at all. The story is messy, confusing, and non-linear. It can get really complicated and completely change course in the middle of an important plotline. This is really frustrating, especially since skipping the filler will confuse you even further. If you're an anime fan who's seen other anime fans talk about this series, don't go into it expecting more anime. You won't find it. However, it's a free series, so feel free to check it out on its own. It is for mature audiences though, so stay away from it if you're a kid. This isn't an invitation. No means no. Leave it alone. Regardless, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I do recommend it if you like chaotic stories. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Hot Topics. Hot Topics is a brand that's widely known for being an edgy, emo, and alternative store. However, the name implies it's actually following mainstream popular culture, which it is. What does this have to do with anime? Well, Hot Topics actually has a ton of anime merchandise. Since anime has become pretty mainstream, it's not surprising that such a large brand features it. They mostly carry the most popular brands, and they actually partner with Sanrio relatively often. Even though Hot Topics has mostly strayed away from its original categories, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I do have to mention that Hot Topics can get insanely expensive. They have sales often, but just make sure you check those prices before getting too excited. I always like talking about places where anime fans can find merchandise, so it's only natural for me to talk about this store too. New day, new post! Since everyone has been talking about Pokemon Pokopia, I decided to watch the trailer for it. Now, I have some things to say. Firstly, everyone keeps saying it's an Animal Crossing rip-off. But it's clearly based on Minecraft. You can see the blocky areas in the background, and things you collect are blocks. It's still a rip-off, but at least get the game right. Secondly, I hate Pokemon's use of ditto in this! In the Pokemon canon, only dittos who are bad at transforming keep their ditto faces. The use of the ditto face is wrong, and it looks awful anyways. Realistically, a ditto copying a human should look like a normal human. Unless all dittos to ever exist suddenly can't transform properly. It bothers me so much. It was cute with the plushies, but now it's just aggravating. But all in all, this game looks fine. A Minecraft rip-off in 2026 feels kind of weird, but I guess they were trying to pick an older game so people wouldn't make the connection. And it worked, because everyone is saying it's Animal Crossing. I'm sure this game will be fine, but I already wasn't interested in it when they announced it would be exclusively on the Switch 2. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the lack of Halloween clothes in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Fans of the game may argue that there are Halloween clothing items in the game, and I agree. However, there aren't very many, and none of them are casual clothing items. There are no Halloween sweaters, casual pants, or sweater dresses. Fall is the season of sweaters, and Halloween is the most popular holiday in fall. This is why I think it's so odd that there's such a lack of clothing items for it. Of course you can make custom Halloween sweaters, which a lot of people do. But you can't make sweater dresses, or even long sleeved casual dresses. You also can't make custom pants. The only real Halloween clothes are for costumes. This makes it difficult to celebrate Halloween in the rest of October leading up to it. I think it's disappointing that there aren't very many Halloween clothes when Halloween is such a popular holiday. I would've loved to see what casual Halloween clothes would've looked like in the game. Everyone thinks of costumes when it comes to Halloween, but custom designs made by fans have proven that casual Halloween clothes are fun too. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I just wanted to talk about this because I was surprised there was such a lack of regular Halloween clothes in the game. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's spooky season! Which is the perfect time to talk about spooky Pokemon. There are already quite a few spooky Pokemon. However, I don't think there are enough. I think there should be more. Spooky Pokemon are perfect for Halloween! But there aren't enough of them. Spooky Pokemon are usually exclusively ghost-type or dark-type, which aren't very common types. I'm not including Pokemon with creepy Pokedex entries, either. I'm only including ones that look spooky. When it comes right down to it, there aren't very many Pokemon that can be used for Halloween. Even Pokemon like Umbreon or Litwick aren't really spooky; they're more cute than anything. Because of this, I think there should be more Pokemon that are either spooky, or based on Halloween. My personal favorite Halloween Pokemon is Pumpkaboo, which is the perfect little Jack-o'-lantern. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I'd love to see what more Halloween Pokemon would look like, even though I don't think there will be any new ones any time soon. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! It's October 1st! That means it's officially spooky season! But for Twisted Wonderland fans, it means the upcoming anime is quickly approaching! That's right, the Twisted Wonderland anime is set to release on October 29th, just in time for Halloween! However, we should keep in mind that the series will be released in Japanese. I don't know if this release date includes an English subbed release, or if we'll get one later. Since they're using the official voice actors, we likely won't be getting a dub at all. So far it's been confirmed to start with one season, which will focus on Heartslabyul. Because of this, it's safe to say the anime will likely follow the different chapter stories like it does in the game. Many fans have been looking forward to this anime, which was announced years ago. Now that it's finally happening, fans are really excited! I'm also excited to see how the anime turns out, and if it'll be different from the game in any way. The anime will be released on Disney+, and an official trailer has already been released.
