It's post time! For today's blog post, I'd like to talk about the Game Boy. Game Boys are still popular today, and they were the first console for many gamers. The original Game Boy was released in 1989, and they were handheld consoles with pixel graphics and a black and white screen. Along with this, they were created by Nintendo. As their popularity grew, Nintendo wanted to improve the console. So they created the Game Boy Color. It was the same graphics, but now in color. The Game Boy Color became popular because of games like Pokemon and Kirby. Many people started gaming with a Game Boy Color, and almost no one actually talks about the original Game Boy these days. Game Boy consoles stopped being created a long time ago, so a lot of individual people and companies have recreated them for fans. This is one of the most common consoles that people still talk about to this day, so I'm sure even people who have never used a Game Boy before at least know what they are.
