It's time for a post! Today's blog post will be about Pusheen the cat. Over the years, Pusheen has become an icon. She's highly recognizable, and she's very popular within the anime community. However, she isn't Japanese. She was created in America. She is somewhat based on kawaii culture though, and she actually became incredibly popular in Japan. She has even had collaborations with Sanrio, and she fits in well with Hello Kitty and her friends. Pusheen was originally created in 2010 as well, and she first appeared in her own comic. She has a series of short animations on her official YouTube channel, and she has a very large variety of merchandise. Pusheen can be found on almost everything, and she now has quite a bit of Japanese merchandise. As always, I will be including the link to her official website below. Enjoy!
