Today's blog post will be about the show School Babysitters. School Babysitters is an Anime that is based on the manga of the same name. This show is a cute slice-of-life type Anime that mainly centers around Ryuichi and his little brother Kotaro. When Ryuichi and Kotaro lose their parents in a plane crash, they are taken in by the chairman of Morinomiya Academy. However, there is one condition; Ryuichi has to babysit the kids at the school daycare! Although the daycare room was created to help the school's teachers who had to take care of their kids, it suffered from a lack of staff. Until Ryuichi becomes a member of the babysitters club, that is. This show follows Ryuichi and Kotaro as they adjust to their new life in the school and meet new friends along the way. I would personally recommend watching this show, since it is fun to watch and it has a good storyline. However, if any of you guys would like to check it out for yourself, it is currently available English subbed on Crunchyroll.

For today's blog post, I will be talking about the show How To Keep A Mummy. How To Keep A Mummy is an Anime that is based on the manga of the same name. This show is a cute slice-of-life type Anime that centers mostly around Kashiwagi Sora and Mii-kun. While Sora's father is away traveling, he sends him a giant coffin and a note saying he found a cute mummy on his travels. Worried about the possibly dangerous mummy inside, Sora decides not to open it. But when the mummy opens it itself, Sora is shocked to see what's inside! Instead of a regular mummy, a small pudgy one comes out of the coffin instead. It turns out the mummy is just a small and harmless mummy that cries just a bit too much. So begins the journey of taking care of the little Mii-kun! I personally enjoy watching this cute laid back show, and I would definitely recommend it. If you guys want to check this out for yourself, it's available English subbed on Crunchyroll. I will also include a picture of Mii-kun on here as well so you guys can see what he looks like. Enjoy!

Today's blog post will be about the show Sanrio Boys. Sanrio Boys (also known as Sanrio Danshi in Japan) is an Anime that is based on the manga of the same name. The show currently features five main characters. All of which are high school age boys, and each of them like a different Sanrio character. These characters are Hasegawa Kouta (who likes Pompompurin), Mizuno Yuu (who likes My Melody), Yoshino Shunsuke (who likes Hello Kitty), Nishimiya Ryo (who likes the Little Twin Stars), and Minamoto Seiichiro (who likes Cinnamoroll). However, the show mainly focuses on Kouta and how he meets all of the different Sanrio Boys. This show is a cute slice-of-life type Anime too. It's also quite laid back, and it has some comedy mixed in as well. I would personally recommend watching this show, since I like what I've seen of the show so far. If any of you guys want to check it out for yourself, it's currently available English subbed on Crunchyroll.

It's blog post time! So what do you get when you mix memes and Anime? Well Pop Team Epic of course! This Anime was originally based on a four panel web comic. I actually heard about this show a while ago, and I decided to watch it just for this post. That was a mistake for me. Although there are some Pop Team Epic fans out there, I personally did not enjoy watching this Anime. With way too much randomness and too many pop culture references, it was hard to know exactly what was going on. Not only that, but there are varying voice actors throughout the episode as well. The episode initially starts out with a fake Anime opening sequence that makes you wonder if you clicked on the right Anime. Then, the whole episode repeats itself halfway through. Except this time there are different voice actors. With all of the random things going on, it's pretty much impossible to know what's happening. Along with this, pretty much only the two main girls, Popuko and Pipimi, are constant characters in the show. I honestly would not recommend watching this show, but that's just my opinion. However, if you guys want to check it out for yourself, it is available English subbed on Crunchyroll. But don't say I didn't warn you!

Today's blog post will be about Mega Evolution from Pokémon. Although I have done a blog post about what Mega Evolution is before, today I will be talking about why I think only some of the Pokémon Mega Evolutions got Pokedex entries. So while I was reading about some of the Mega Evolutions, I noticed that not all of the Pokémon got Pokedex entries for their Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Sun and Moon or Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. I personally think this is because there will most likely be more entries for them coming in the next upcoming Pokémon game. On the other hand, there may not have been Mega entries for popular Pokémon like Gardevoir to prevent backlash from any unhappy fans of the games and Anime. For example, if Gardevoir received a negative Pokedex entry like many of the other Pokémon Mega Evolutions did, many fans would be very upset about this. Of course, it could simply be because Game Freak didn't want to include a lot of Mega Pokedex entries at one time. Whatever the case may be, I hope we get some more Mega Evolution Pokedex entries soon!

For today's blog post, I will be talking about some news I read about Kizuna Ai. If you guys have been in the Anime community for a while, you have probably already heard about Kizuna Ai. But if you haven't heard of her before, allow me to explain. Kizuna Ai is a virtual YouTuber, and she is an Anime girl. All of her videos are in Japanese, but there are English captions available on most (or all) of her videos. I have personally watched a few of her videos, and I quite like watching them. Now as for the news, Kizuna Ai is getting her very own first official photobook! It will be a 96 page hardcover book, and it will be published in Japan. The photobook is set to be released on March 16th, 2018, and it will sell for $24.71 (or 2700 yen). I found out about this photobook through Crunchyroll, so I will include the link for it if you guys want to check it out. I will also include the link for Kizuna Ai's YouTube channel as well. Enjoy!

For today's blog post, I will be talking about some of the new things for Pokémon Go. I will mainly be talking about all of the new Pokémon though. To start with, there are even more new Pokémon that have been added to Pokémon Go. The recently added weather feature I mentioned in a previous blog post also makes it quite a bit easier to catch all of these new Pokémon. I myself have been able to catch a lot of new Pokémon that would have been very hard for me to find and catch before the weather feature was added. Along with this, the Pokedex can also be sorted by region now as well. This makes it much easier to see which Pokémon you have already caught and which region they are originally from. I also noticed a new egg incubator called a Super Incubator too. Other than this I haven't seen very many other additions to the game. I just thought it would be a good idea to mention some of the recently added features for the game. That's all for now though! I hope this helps any of you guys who still play Pokémon Go! However, if you stopped playing Pokémon Go, I would recommend playing it again. Especially with all of the new Pokémon they've added to the game.

It's blog post time! Welcome back to another installment of Anime According To WikiHow! I sincerely apologize for not doing another one of these sooner, but I honestly forgot about it. Sorry about that! Now if you guys don't know what this series is, I'll explain it. For these posts, I pick an Anime based WikiHow page and read the whole thing. Then, I tell you guys a basic idea of what it said, and then I give my thoughts on it. I also include the link to the WikiHow page at the end of the post so you guys can check it out if you want to. Now then, onto the post! For today's post, I picked a page called "How To Act Like A Utauloid". (I know it's not time to add my opinion yet, but honestly that should say an Utauloid, not a Utauloid.) To start with, this page basically tells you that to become an Utauloid, you must look like and sound like the Utauloid you chose. It also says that you should learn Japanese, and to randomly add Japanese words into your speech. It tells you not to tell anyone that you are trying to act like the Utauloid so they don't pick on you for it as well. However, it does say that looking like an Utauloid (cutting your hair, dying your hair, dressing like them, or wearing colored contacts) is completely optional. But, the page also says that you should tell people that your name is actually the Utauloid's name. Okay, time for my input. I honestly think doing any of these things would be completely overboard, even for cosplays.  I mean, it would be fine to dress like, or maybe even act like, an Utauloid for a cosplay. It would also be fine to have an Utauloid's outfit inspire your own style. But if you told someone that your name was actually the Utauloid's name, that would be too much. It's also a bit excessive to cut and dye your hair to look like the Utauloid, and to actually try to change your voice to sound like theirs. It also wouldn't be a good idea to randomly add Japanese words to your speech, since it could be quite annoying to some people. Plus, it shouldn't tell you that people would pick on you for acting like an Utauloid, since that's not necessarily true. It still wouldn't be a good idea to constantly act like one though. Since this post is getting pretty long, that's all I'll say about it for now. If you guys want to check the WikiHow page out for yourself, here's the link for it: https://www.wikihow.com/Act-Like-a-Utauloid

Today's blog post will be about the Mystic Messenger Calling Card. What exactly is the calling card? Well, it allows you to make unlimited calls to the characters within the game without it cutting into your hourglasses. The price of $20.99 might seem a bit ridiculous at first, but it can be quite useful to own one. Especially if the characters don't always pick up. Since calling the characters can be a bit of a gamble without knowing exactly when they will pick up, it's pretty disappointing when you waste five hourglasses because it went to their answering machine or because it bounced. Because of this, the calling card can be quite useful if you play the game a lot, or if you just don't want to keep wasting your hourglasses. As of right now though, this specific calling card doesn't work for V or Ray. However, it will still work for calling Jaehee, Zen, Seven, Yoosung, and Jumin. I hope this post helps out any Mystic Messenger fans that may be reading this! I'm sure this calling card will be worth it in the long run!

For today's blog post, I will be talking about the Ultra Beasts from Pokémon. To avoid any possible spoilers, I'll only be talking about the Ultra Beasts. I will also try to talk about them all as a whole instead of just talking about one or two the whole time. Now then, on with the post! Ultra Beasts were originally introduced in the Pokémon Sun And Moon game, although some have appeared in the Anime as well. There are currently eleven Ultra Beasts. These are Nihilego, Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Celesteela, Xurkitree, Guzzlord, Kartana, Poipole, Naganadel, Stakataka, and Blacephalon. Ultra Beasts are powerful Pokémon too. It's also a bit hard to catch an Ultra Beast, since all other Pokeball types, other than a Mater Ball or a Beast Ball, have a very low catch rate when used on them. Each Ultra Beast is also very different from each other as well. If you want to see what the Ultra Beasts look like, I will include a picture of some of them below. Enjoy!

If you guys don't know, this blog post is actually my 500th blog post! Yay! So for this momentous occasion, I figured I would talk about some of the first Anime I had watched when I was younger, along with which series brought me back into watching Anime when I got older. So, on with the post! Like many other kids my age when I was little, I loved waking up on Saturday morning to watch the Saturday morning cartoons every week. However, I didn't realize that some of the cartoons that I watched were in reality Anime. There are actually a few that I could remember very well, even after years of not watching them. These were the original Yu-Gi-Oh series, Sonic X, and Pokémon Indigo League. I also remember watching Kirby Right Back At Ya, but not as well as the others. I would also occasionally watch Hamtaro as well. Even now after all of this time I still love watching Yu-Gi-Oh, Hamtaro, Pokémon, and Sonic X. For a long time after that however, I didn't watch any Anime. I actually didn't watch Anime at all until I found Naruto Shippuden a few years ago. It was a good start as well, since it opened up my world to all kinds of new Anime. I now have a wide range of Anime shows and movies that I like to watch. This has also helped me find other things I like as well, like the Mystic Messenger app. It even helped me find things like Pocky, Ramune, Honey Butter Chips, and a lot of other snacks and even fashions that I like. Anime also helped me find manga, and it's also part of the reason I found out about Vocaloids. Since Anime and Anime-related things now take up a large part of my life, it's hard to believe I went so long without it. I can barely even remember what it was like without all of it! Since I don't want to make this post too long, I think I'll end it here. I hope you all enjoy this little look into how I was introduced to Anime, and thank you for reading this post!

Today I will be talking about why only the female Salandits can evolve into Salazzle in Pokémon. Although at first it only seems like it's because of genetics, it's actually because of a different reason entirely. It was revealed in Pokémon Ultra Sun that the males will actually do whatever the females tell them to. Because of this, the males give the female Salandits most of their food. This makes the males malnourished, making it so they can't evolve. This is actually an interesting reason for them not being able to evolve. Since this explanation is pretty short, I figured I would also add some of my thoughts on this topic. So, here we go! To start with, this brings up the question of if it would be able to evolve if it wasn't malnourished. I would personally like to see if this is true, since it would be cool to see what a male Salazzle would look like. It would also be quite interesting to see what its abilities would be, or if they would be the same as the female Salazzle's abilities. As of right now though it doesn't look like this will be confirmed. So, I guess we'll just have to wait to see if it's true. Hopefully it's revealed soon though!

It's time for another new post! For today's post I will be making a list of five Akaito Shion songs, along with their links. If you don't know, Akaito is a popular fan-made Vocaloid who was derived from Kaito. Since I decided to add more songs on here by fan-made Vocaloids, I figured a list for Akaito would be a good idea. Mostly because of how popular he is. Now then, on with the list!

2.) World Is Mine

Today's blog post will be about the headbands from Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, and most recently Boruto. Now if you watch the show or read the manga, you probably already know what the headbands are for. But if you don't, that's what this post is for. To start with, a headband will be given to a ninja once they finish their training and have made it to at least the genin class. The headband is to show that the person is now a ninja. Furthermore, each headband will also have a symbol on it to represent which village the ninja is from. This is so other villages or people who requested assistance from a ninja know which village they are from. Although the headband is usually worn on the ninja's forehead, it can be worn in different ways as long as it is still visible. This can be seen with characters such as Sakura who wears it as a headband for her hair, and Shikamaru who wears it on his arm. On the other hand, the symbol on the headband can also be crossed out to show that a ninja has deflected from their village. This can be seen with the Akatsuki, where each member that wears a ninja headband has the symbol for their village crossed out.

Today I will be talking about mainstream Anime. Now most of you probably already know what mainstream Anime is, but I'm going to explain what it is anyways. Anyways, on with the post! Mainstream Anime is simply very popular and well-known Anime, such as Naruto Shippuden and Dragon Ball. They're also usually the first Anime you hear about or find when you start watching Anime. Now some people might say that mainstream Anime is overrated just because of how popular an Anime is. To be fair, that's their choice and their opinion. However, I don't think a person should judge an Anime solely on how popular it is. I have personally found many Anime titles that I like through their popularity. But I think I'm getting a bit off topic now. I just wanted to include that. So anyways, a mainstream Anime is really just a really popular Anime that is more frequently heard about, and there's also usually a lot of merchandise for it as well. Other than that, it's basically just regular Anime, it's just more popular.

For today's blog post, I actually have some Mystic Messenger news. I'm not sure how long ago this news was released, so I may be a bit behind on it. Anyways, an approximate release day for the Ray (A.K.A Unknown) route has been revealed! The new route is set to be released on January 31st, and it will be included in the Another Story section. This means that after the Ray route is released, the MC can end up on either V's route or Ray's route after the first few days. However, the price for the new Ray route has yet to be set as well. I know this post is pretty short, but that's all of the information I have for it right now. Fortunately this means that all of the fans for Ray can start getting excited for his new route! After all, it's only a couple of weeks away!

Today's blog post will be about Lavender Town from Pokémon. Lavender Town is one of the most well-known towns from the Generation One Pokémon games. This is because of how dark this town really is. Lavender Town is home to the Pokémon Tower, a place full of Pokémon graves and their grieving trainers. The town itself is said to be haunted, and one of the characters actually mentions seeing a white hand on the player character's shoulder while in the town. The town residents also talk about an orphaned Cubone whose mother, Marowak, was killed by Team Rocket who were trying to kidnap Cubone for its valuable skull. While in the Pokémon Tower, the player can encounter many ghost type Pokémon. However, these Pokémon can't be battled unless the player has obtained the Silph Scope. This makes it so the player is forced to run if they don't have a Silph Scope. Wild Cubone can be encountered in the Pokémon Tower as well. Multiple NPCs can also be battled in the Pokémon Tower. Along with all of this, Lavender Town has a recognizably eerie song for the background music throughout the town. This town also played a big part in the Anime special called Pokémon Origins as well. However, the storyline for Pokémon Origins simply followed the storyline for the game, almost perfectly. So if you want to check out an Anime version of this spooky town, go check out Pokémon Origins!

For today's blog post, I will be talking about Twitch Plays Pokémon. Although Twitch Plays Pokémon is still going on to this day, it originally started in 2014 with the game Pokémon Red. Unfortunately, I missed out on playing it when it first started. However, I have read quite a bit about it. To start with, Twitch Plays Pokémon was originally created as a social experiment on the popular website Twitch.TV. It ended up gaining a huge following, with over a million people watching it and thousands of people all controlling the main character at once. This version of the game worked by letting the viewers of Twitch Plays Pokémon control the main character by inputting commands into the chat. This allowed the viewers to decide the fate of the game. However, with this many players for one Pokémon game there were bound to be some snags. There were Pokémon that were released, the main character walked around in circles and hit walls, and there were those players that hit down after a long time of trying to get up a cliff, just to have them jump back down. With all of those people playing the game, it ended up taking about 16 days for the game to be fully completed. Because of this, later Twitch Plays Pokémon games started using a voting tactic to avoid confusion. This still allowed players to input actions, but only the one with the most votes would be used.  Although the players didn't like being limited to a voting system, it did make it a bit less confusing to play the game.

It's time for another blog post! For today's blog post I will be talking about Doki Doki Literature Club. Now I personally have not played this game, and I do not intend to do so. However, I have done some research on it just for today's post. To start with, Doki Doki Literature Club is a visual novel. It centers around the main male protagonist and four girls named Monika, Natsuki, Yuri, and Sayori. In this game, your interactions with the different characters effect what happens in the game. The protagonist can also write poems using a provided list of words. If you use words that one of the girls like, the story turns to go more towards their path. Although it starts out as a light-hearted game, it actually turns into a psychological horror game. I don't know very much more about this game, so you'll have to play it yourself if you want to know more. Plus, I don't want to give away any possible spoilers. If you want to check it out for yourself, the game is currently available for free on Steam. Since it's free, there's no excuse for you to not try it out if you like games like that! I hope this post helps you guys out some!

I know that in past posts I have talked about fan-made Vocaloids, but I usually don't include very many songs by them on here. I often just do the post and include one song so you guys can hear what they sound like. But I'm going to change that with today's blog post! Behold, five songs (and their links) sung by the oh-so-popular Hatsune Mikuo! Enjoy!

                                      Surprise! There's a picture too!

It's blog post time! So, why is it that popular Vocaloids such as Kamui Gakupo and Utatane Piko aren't getting English voice banks, despite their continuous popularity? Well, I actually have a couple thoughts on this topic. For one, a Vocaloid's voice provider obviously has to know English themselves before they can start working on an English voice bank for that Vocaloid. Secondly, even if the voice provider already knows English (or even if they have to learn it), the company for the Vocaloid may not be willing to put in all of the money and effort it takes to create and release a whole new voice bank. Voice banks for Vocaloids also take quite a bit of time to create. That's why some voice banks for Vocaloids are delayed weeks or sometimes even months past their initial release date. However, if the company actually is working on a new English voice bank for a Vocaloid, it could take a while for us fans to hear about it. Now, I'm not saying that we aren't going to get English voice banks for some Vocaloids at all, but it might take a while for us to get them. But at least there's still hope!

For today's blog post I will be listing five songs sung by Kamui Gakupo, along with their links. Since Gakupo is one of my favorite Vocaloids, I figured I would put him in the spotlight once again with this blog post. Now then, on with the post!

Okay, so I have been seeing the Pokémon theory of Gengar being Clefable's shadow for quite a while now. I'm not sure how long this theory has been around, but today I will be reviewing the facts and seeing if this theory could be true or if it is false. Now, on with the post! For the first piece of evidence, people often say that Gengar has a similar body shape to Clefable. I can see the similarities between them, since they do have a similar size, body shape, fingers, and ears. However, Gengar doesn't have the same wings that Clefable has. In fact, Gengar doesn't have anything on its back at all, except for maybe some spikes. They also don't have the same tail. Another part of the theory is that Clefable's normal typing makes it so it can't hurt Gengar because of Gengar's ghost typing. This would make sense because you can't hurt your own shadow. However, Clefable is actually a Fairy typing now, and Gengar is a ghost/poison type. This was most likely done to go along with Clefable's appearance, but its typing most likely wouldn't have been changed if the fans were supposed to draw this comparison between these two Pokémon. Another argument is that Gengar is called the shadow Pokémon, but there's actually a reason for this too. It's because Gengar will pretend to be a person's shadow in order to sneak up on them. In my opinion, Gengar would have most likely already been revealed to be Clefable's shadow by now if it was supposed to be. It would have most likely been a dark type instead of a ghost type as well. So, I'll have to say that I personally think this theory is false. Now, I could be wrong. But, we probably would have had confirmation of this theory by now if it was true, especially with the new darker Pokedex entries that reveal many of the true origins of Pokémon from previous games. However, this is just my opinion on it, so don't take it too personally!

If you guys don't know, Fukase is one of my favorite Vocaloids. He has a good voice, and his English is often very understandable and well-pronounced, even without subtitles. I also think his design is pretty cool too. So for today's post, I will be listing five English covers that I like by him, along with their links. These aren't necessarily my favorite songs by Fukase either, just some of the ones that I like. Here we go!

For today's post I will be talking about why the Pokémon Slowpoke becomes smarter when it evolves into a Slowking. The Pokémon Slowpoke is generally known for being a very slow Pokémon, and it usually doesn't move very much. It is often a very forgetful Pokémon too. However, this all changes when it evolves into Slowking. After it evolves, it becomes extremely intelligent. It was even shown in Pokémon The Movie 2000 that one Slowking learned how to speak. It's also said to have intelligence as high as an award-winning scientist as well. This happens because the Shellder on its head releases a toxin into it every time it bites down on Slowking's head. Even though this toxin makes it very smart, Slowking will forget all it has learned if the Shellder lets go of its head. Oddly enough, it only seems to gain this intelligence when a Shellder bites its head, since it will still be lazy and forgetful if the Shellder bites onto its tail and it evolves into Slowbro instead.

Today's blog post will be about Friends from the show Kemono Friends. This post may have one or two spoilers, but it's mainly just about what a Friend is. Now then, what are Friends? To start with, they are the main focus of the show. Friends are humanoid creatures that used to be animals. Because of this, a lot of them still keep their animal characteristics. This is why most of them have tails or claws and such. However, they also have the ability to speak. Since they are human-like now, they do have the normal human ears and noses and such. But, a lot of them will also have their animal-like ears in their hair, even though they have the human-like ears. They keep their animal traits, too. For example, a Prairie Dog Friend will still want to dig, and a bird Friend will still be able to fly. Oddly enough, the fur or scales that was on the animal before it became a Friend seems to turn into clothes for them after they turn into a Friend. This can be seen with all of the Friends, since they all wear clothes that resemble the fur, scales, or sometimes the skin they would've had as an animal. For another example of what a Friend is and what they look like, I will include a picture on here of some of the Penguin Friends. Enjoy!

Today's blog post will be about Pokémon types. It's actual very useful to know the different types for Pokémon, since the types effect how strong or weak an attack will be on another Pokémon. For today's blog post, I will be talking about the Vocaloid band called Ice Mountain. I know I have done a blog post about this Vocaloid band before, but today I will be talking about its popularity. Now why isn't Ice Mountain very popular? I honestly expected it to be much more popular when I found out about it, especially since all of the members of the band have personalities and backstories. However, I think they're not as popular because only Hiyama Kiyoteru, the singer, has a voice. But, I still believe Ice Mountain should have more popularity because there aren't very many other Vocaloids that have actual personalities and such. Unfortunately, when songs are made using Kiyoteru, he is the only who appears in the videos instead of the whole band. There aren't very many English subbed songs (or songs in general) for the band as a whole either. I am actually quite fond of Ice Mountain myself, and I am disappointed that there isn't very much attention given to them. I hope in the future they get more attention, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like that will happen anytime soon.

It's blog post time again! For today's blog post, I will be talking about why I think there are no Dark type Gyms in Pokémon. Now, I never really noticed that there aren't any Dark type gyms until I started looking more into the Pokémon fandom. After I was watching some Pokémon videos, I heard quite a few people mention it. Upon further research, I realized they were right! So why aren't there any Dark type gyms? Well, here are my thoughts on it. I think it's because a gym often reflects the town they are in. Since the people of the town usually look up to gyms and gym leaders, it wouldn't be a good influence on the town to have a Dark type gym. This is also most likely because the Dark type is actually called the Evil type in the Japanese version. Since Pokémon is often aimed at a younger audience as well, it also wouldn't be a good influence for the player to see a successful Evil type gym in the game they are playing, or in the Anime they're watching. However, we might still get a Dark type gym in the future, but it's hard to say if we will ever get one. Well, those are my thoughts on it. If any of you guys would like to add anything, feel free to leave your comments down below!

It's a New Year, and with the New Year comes new posts! You're welcome. Anyways, I'll be making a list of some upcoming 2018 Anime in tomorrow's post, since I haven't done very much research on it yet. So instead, I'll be doing something else for today's post. Now, I couldn't decide on if I should do a Vocaloid post, or if I should do a Pokémon post. So, I present to you, Vocaloids singing Pokémon songs! Since it is a new year, I will once again say that I don't own any of the videos or pictures I use on my blog, so I'm not trying to steal their work. If any of you happen to see a picture on here you recognize from an artist, please don't tell them I'm stealing their work. None of you have, it's just a little heads-up. Now then, on with the post!
