Today's blog post will be about Pichu from Pokémon. Pichu is an electric type Pokémon, and it is the pre-evolution of Pikachu and Raichu. This Pokémon can charge its electricity easier when its dry outside or if there are thunderclouds in the sky. You can also hear static electricity crackling off of Pichu too. When it plays with other Pichu, they may short each other out, which creates a shower of sparks. When this happens, Pichu will be startled by the sudden flash of sparks and begin crying. This Pokémon is actually not as popular as its other evolutions are. This is most likely because Pikachu is the mascot of the franchise. But, even Raichu got its own Alolan form in Sun And Moon. Interestingly enough, Pichu was created long after Pikachu and Raichu were. This is actually probably one of the contributing factors to its lack of popularity. There is even a baby Pikachu present in one of the older Anime episodes that was made before Pichu came out. Of course, I will also be including this picture down below. Enjoy!
