It's time to duel! I mean post! If you can't tell, it's time for another Yu-Gi-Oh post! Todays blog post will be about duel disks. Duel disks are mechanisms that are used for dueling without a table. In the anime, the duel disks can also be used to project holograms for more life-like duels. Duel disks first appeared in the original series of Yu-Gi-Oh, and they became very popular. Because of this, real versions of the duel disks were made for fans of the show. Although they can't project holograms, they can be used to duel without a table. They have slots for monster cards, spell and trap cards, and they have manual life point counters. A few different variations have been created, but the original designs are the most popular and well-known. Because of this, they were re-released for the 25th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh. This means you can still get them brand new to this day, and they still have the same features as the originals. Even though they can't project holograms like in the show, they still make for a cool collectors item. They can also be used to duel in public, which means Yu-Gi-Oh fans of all kinds could easily have duels whenever and wherever they wanted just like in the shows; but you didn't hear that from me. Why aren't there any Pokemon based on vegetables? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! This may seem like an odd question, but there are quite a few Pokemon based on foods. Fruits, mushrooms, and ice cream to name a few. But there aren't really any Pokemon based on vegetables. It may be because vegetables can be more difficult to make designs for, but that isn't necessarily true. There are many designs that could be made for vegetable-based Pokemon. However, kids generally don't like vegetables. That may seem silly, but Pokemon are often made with kids in mind. On the other hand, there are many Pokemon who are based on things kids don't normally like. Personally, I think it's just something that's been overlooked. There are many Pokemon based on many different things, so it's easy to miss a thing or two. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For today's blog post, I will be rating Death Note characters out of ten. I will be rating six Death Note characters, and all of the ratings will be based on my opinion. To keep it from being repetitive, I'll be putting the more talked about characters at the end. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Near - 8/10 - As many of you know, I really like Near. He's incredibly smart, and my second favorite character. But minus two points because he can be pretty rude sometimes.

2.) Mello - 7/10 - Mello is a really cool character. But his short temper and impulsive nature can make him a bit off-putting. He's really smart just like Near, but he can be downright scary at times.

3.) Matt - 5/10 - Possibly one of the lowest scores I've given someone, but not because I dislike him. He seems really cool, and I like his design. But with so little involvement in the story, it's difficult to really know him at all.

4.) L - 10/10 - Smart and awkward while still keeping a sense of humor, L is by far my favorite character. He's incredibly codependent and lacking a bit in the social department, but I really don't mind at all.

5.) Watari - 10/10 - He's really skilled and very nice. He cares for children a lot, and he has a good heart. He even takes care of L despite the fact he's an adult now. Although well kept together on the outside, on the inside he has a big heart.

6.) Light - 3/10 - I could write a full length post on why I dislike Light, and I have before. He's arrogant, self-righteous, and sometimes just cruel. If he has a heart he doesn't show it, and at times he's just stupid. He's supposed to be smart, but in the end he's just a liar, a cheater, and a murderer; and nothing more. A pretty face could never hide an ugly soul. But I still gave him three points because occasionally he experiences a coherent thought and comes up with an actual plan.

What time is it? Post time! Part of the fun of being a fan of just about anything is collecting the fun merchandise from it. But when it comes to Twisted Wonderland, it seems like there's no official merchandise. This makes no sense, especially when it comes to Disney. Disney loves profiting from popular series. So where's the merchandise? Well, there's actually a lot of Twisted Wonderland merchandise; and I mean a lot. The only problem is, it's in Japan. However, there are some Japanese websites that ship from Japan to other places. You can also buy official merchandise from other fans, but then the companies wouldn't be getting any of the money, which would mean they'd stop making merchandise for it. As of now it's been difficult finding official retailers when it comes to Twisted Wonderland, but there is a lot of merchandise if you know where to look. Hopefully we'll get an official store in other places as well, since it has been gaining quite a lot of popularity recently. But, that's all I have for now! It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the new line of Pikachu plushies. Recently a new line of Pikachu plushies were released in Japan. They're called My Pikachu, and every one is meant to be unique. This is to encourage Pokemon trainers of all ages to finally go and find the perfect Pikachu just for them. Although it's hard to say if every one really is unique, it's an incredible thought. It's also been posing a problem for collectors, but I think the bigger problem there is people hoarding a bunch of Pikachu plushies for no reason so other people can't have them. I think letting people pick unique plushies like that is such a cool idea. Who wouldn't want their own special Pikachu? Plus, there's a chance they'll do it with other Pokemon if the project is a success. At the moment there's no word of if these plushies will be released outside of Japan, but I kind of hope they aren't too expensive if they are released globally. It's time for another Twisted Wonderland list! Since Ignihyde and Scarabia are the only dorms with two members, I've decided to put them together in this character rating list. This list will be a rating of four characters. Each rating will be out of ten, and each of them will be based on my opinion. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Idia Shroud - 9/10 - I love Idia! He's fantastic! An otaku shut-in after my own heart, Idia is an often misunderstood and overlooked loner. I really love his design, too. But minus a point because he can be a jerk sometimes.

2.) Ortho Shroud - 7/10 - I like Ortho. But he's a bit, peppy for me. His optimism is contagious and his design is adorable. But for some reason I just can't click with him..

Scarabia

3.) Kalim Al-Asim - 8/10 - Kalim is great. He's funny and kind, but a bit of a klutz. He's airheaded and a bit too carefree. But he's amazing nonetheless.

4.) Jamil Viper - 10/10 - Jamil is a pretty awesome guy. He spends so much time cleaning up Kalim's messes that he doesn't even have time for himself. He's incredibly responsible, and he's spent nearly all of his life taking care of Kalim because of it. He hardly gets any recognition and barely has a personality outside of his duties. So I gave him full marks for all of his amazing efforts.

It's time for another new post! Since yesterday I talked about the odd case of Chenya, I decided to talk about Kalim from Twisted Wonderland in today's blog post. There may be some spoilers in this post, though. So proceed with caution. Now then, on with it! For those of you who don't know, Kalim is loosely based on the Sultan from Aladdin. Jamil on the other hand is based on Jafar. Jafar is obviously the villain of Aladdin, but the Sultan wasn't really that bad. While Jafar was trying to take over the kingdom, the Sultan was just doing what he thought was best for his daughter and the kingdom. He was nice, and hardly an antagonist at all. Most of the bad things he did were because Jafar was controlling him. Don't get me wrong, I love Kalim. But I hardly think he's a villain at all. The Sultan wasn't even a villain. Because of this, I think it's an odd choice to include Kalim as a character. Although, I guess it would be pretty pointless to have only one character in a dorm. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! As a little bonus, here's a picture of Kalim. Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the curious case of Chenya from Twisted Wonderland. As a character, I don't think there's anything wrong with him. Chenya is a side character from Royal Sword Academy. But that's just the problem. Night Raven College is based on the villains of Disney movies, and Royal Sword Academy is based on the protagonists of Disney movies. However, Chenya is based on the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland. Although I wouldn't really call the Cheshire Cat an antagonist, I wouldn't call him a protagonist either. He may help occasionally, but he also causes quite a bit of trouble. I think this odd middle ground makes it difficult to properly place a character who's based on him. Because of this, I found it rather surprising when he was part of Royal Sword Academy. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I just found it odd that he was considered a hero instead of a villain. I mean, he did help. But did he really help that much? Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! 3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be listing three Studio Ghibli movies. These are a few of the movies I've watched that I hadn't really had a chance to talk about before. Because of this, I'll also be giving my opinions on them and ranking them out of ten. Please keep in mind that these are just my opinions. Now then, let's get on with it. Enjoy!

1.) Only Yesterday - 7/10 - I liked it, but it was a bit difficult to follow. The constant bouncing back and forth between her younger self and older self was pretty cool; if not a bit confusing at times. The story was great though.

2.) When Marnie Was There - 9/10 - This movie was great. I really liked the story, and the ending was actually pretty good. The twist, although a tad bit obvious to me, was such a nice addition. I recommend it.

3.) The Secret World Of Arrietty - 10/10 - I love this one. I prefer the Disney dub of it, since it has some good jokes; and I'm attached to the actors they chose to voice the characters. Although, there's also a different original English dub that's more accurate; and that one is good too. I highly recommend this one, even if it isn't as well-known as some of the others. It's just a nice story with a nice atmosphere, like most Ghibli movies.

Why are there so few members in the Ignihyde dorm in Twisted Wonderland? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, the dorm members of Night Raven College are all based on Disney villains. However, Ignihyde only has two members; both of which are based on Hades from Hercules. But why is this? There were more villains in Hercules than just Hades. So why are there only two members in the dorm? It doesn't make much sense, considering the other dorms have many dorm members. The only ones that have limited numbers are that way because there weren't many villains in the movies. Movies that only had one villain are represented by staff members. This goes for every house except Diasomnia, which has multiple characters based on one villain. But Hercules has a few villains. Hades, his imps, and the fates. Even if the three fates weren't as prominent, the imps played a very important part in the movie. So where are they? The Twisted Wonderland characters don't look exactly like their movie counterparts, so it would've been easy to make new designs for them. They're also pretty recognizable, which makes the decision to not include them rather odd. I suppose we'll never really have an answer for this question, other than they likely just didn't want to include them. I just found it odd that they would include a wolf character in Savanaclaw, but didn't include the imps in Ignihyde. They are villains, after all. It just feels like a weird decision. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Today's blog post will be a bit different. It isn't exactly anime related. But with its sudden massive popularity, it's only a matter of time before it invades the anime fandom as well. I apologize if you all had hoped you would be safe from it on an anime blog, but today I'll be talking about Welcome Home. Yes, it's true. I've been sucked in as well. I have shown weakness, and it won. Seriously though, I just think it's neat. This blog is often reserved for anime related topics, and I find ways to include my interests while still keeping it on topic. But Welcome Home hasn't quite gained enough popularity for that yet. However, its creator has made a Pokemon crossover for it. So I suppose that's something. For those of you who don't know, Welcome Home is an ARG based on restoring the lost media of a show called Welcome Home. I won't go into it too much here, but I will be including the link for the official website below. I recommend looking into it. But be warned! It is kind of spooky. Is Avatar: The Last Airbender an anime? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! I've talked about this a few times now, but I've decided to talk about it again today because it seems to still be an ongoing debate. Although some anime fans have accepted that it is an anime because the art style is close enough, it isn't an anime at all. It did take inspiration from the popular Japanese anime, but it isn't an anime. First of all, it's an American animated series. Secondly, it doesn't just take inspiration from anime; but cartoons as well. There are things that people consider anime even though it isn't from Japan, but those are either in collaboration with a Japanese studio, or they're specifically made to be an anime. Avatar was not made to be an anime, it was just inspired by anime. There's nothing wrong with calling it an anime, but telling others it is does spread misinformation. It's also bothersome when people create professional lists or videos calling it an anime when it isn't at all. It's an amazing show, and I do recommend it. But it isn't an anime, even if the art style is heavily inspired by it. On a side note, I think its art style is beautiful. New day, new post! The blog post for today will be about the lofi girl. For those of you who don't know, the lofi girl is a girl who originated on YouTube. Although she's not really anime related, she is drawn in the anime art style. No one knows her name, but she's known for being shown studying while lofi music plays in the background. She's part of a very long running live music broadcast, as well. She's so well-known that she can be seen in places that don't relate to lofi at all; including comics and memes. She originally came from the channel ChilledCow, although they have since changed their name to Lofi Girl because of the girl's popularity. Although they're most well-known for their constant lofi livestream, they also have quite a few other lofi uploads on their channel; most of which now contain the signature lofi girl.
