Why are there so few members in the Ignihyde dorm in Twisted Wonderland? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, the dorm members of Night Raven College are all based on Disney villains. However, Ignihyde only has two members; both of which are based on Hades from Hercules. But why is this? There were more villains in Hercules than just Hades. So why are there only two members in the dorm? It doesn't make much sense, considering the other dorms have many dorm members. The only ones that have limited numbers are that way because there weren't many villains in the movies. Movies that only had one villain are represented by staff members. This goes for every house except Diasomnia, which has multiple characters based on one villain. But Hercules has a few villains. Hades, his imps, and the fates. Even if the three fates weren't as prominent, the imps played a very important part in the movie. So where are they? The Twisted Wonderland characters don't look exactly like their movie counterparts, so it would've been easy to make new designs for them. They're also pretty recognizable, which makes the decision to not include them rather odd. I suppose we'll never really have an answer for this question, other than they likely just didn't want to include them. I just found it odd that they would include a wolf character in Savanaclaw, but didn't include the imps in Ignihyde. They are villains, after all. It just feels like a weird decision.
