Why is it bad for people to make fan-made Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although it isn't bad to make fan-made Pokemon, it actually can be in the long run. Fan-made Pokemon aren't official, but do lower the possibilities for official Pokemon. Basically, making a fan-made Pokemon almost guarantees that a Pokemon like that will never be official. It's a copyright risk, and making a design too similar to an existing one can be like plagiarism. Along with this, the Pokemon company can't just buy designs they really like. This will lead to more fans making more Pokemon in hopes that their design will end up in the series, and doing it this way would be way too expensive. Because of this, making fan-made Pokemon just lowers the chances for official Pokemon. So if you see a fan-made Pokemon, or evolution, that you really like, just remember that the possibility of ever seeing anything like it in the official series has just been lowered significantly. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Dire Crowley from Twisted Wonderland. Dire Crowley is one of the most mysterious characters in this game. A lot of people have a lot of theories about him, but right now not very much is confirmed. But based on what we do know, he does seem to be a fae, which is based on the pointed shape of his ears. A lot of fans also think he's based on Maleficent's bird, Diablo. If he is a fae, and if he is based on Diablo, then there's also a chance he has a connection with the Diasomnia boys. But none of this has been confirmed. In fact, not very much has even been implied. It's a bit frustrating to have such an important character with such little information. I do hope more is eventually revealed about him, because he is an interesting character. But for now, all we can do is take the little information we do have and make our own ideas based on it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Amy from the Sonic series. I've never liked Amy in the Sonic franchise, so I wanted to talk about that in today's blog post. Amy originally started out as a background character. Someone to be saved, or a damsel in distress. But with time, she developed a personality. A personality, that I hated. She has a short fuse, she's mean to people (including her friends), she harasses Sonic (even when he rejects her), and she's only nice as long as you're on her good side. I don't care if she's popular, I don't like her. Even in different games, comics, and shows, she still has the same base personality. That personality seems to be "hit things with a hammer and then harass Sonic". If the roles were reversed, people wouldn't think her unwanted advances were charming. They'd think she was a creep. So why is it different just because she's a girl? There are a lot of other girl characters from Sonic that I've always loved, but Amy has never been one of them. Personally, I prefer Cream from Sonic X. She's very sweet, and her little companion Cheese is adorable. But, I digress. Those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with my opinions, but that's okay. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! The blog post for today will be about the game Nekopara Catboys Paradise. This game is part of the popular Nekopara series, except this one features cat boys instead of cat girls. The original series was really popular, but a lot of fans wanted to see cat boys in the series as well. This game is free-to-play, and it has four characters. Their names are Fennel, Dill, Sage, and Laurier. The protagonist is a girl, but she has no voice or dialogue. Instead, the boys are fully voiced, and the main character only reacts to situations. The story is pretty good, and the artwork is very nicely made and cute. However, there are no options. I haven't played through the entire game yet, but I have played more than half of it and there's no choices so far. I also saw a lot of other fans saying there weren't any choices throughout the entire game. Although some people may like this, I think it's a bit boring to just read an entire game and not be a part of it. It isn't interactive, and instead it's more like a book with nice artwork; so keep this in mind if you don't like to read your games. I do like the characters, and I'm happy to see cat boys being added to the Nekopara universe. I've never played the original games, so I can't say if this one is similar to the others or not. All in all, it's a cute visual novel that's free-to-play. So if you'd like to check it out, I do recommend it. As always, I will be including the link for the official Steam page below. Enjoy!

1.) Obey Me
2.) Twisted Wonderland
3.) Reverse: 1999
4.) Tokyo Debunker

Are Gulliver and Gullivarrr the same character? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, in Animal Crossing New Horizons there are two seagulls who wash up on your beach occasionally. Their names are Gulliver and Gullivarrr, and they look almost identical. It's implied a bit throughout the game that these two are the same character. However, there are a few differences. Other than their clothes, they also have different eyes. Their pupils, eyebrows, and line art around their eyes are all different. The most obvious difference is the pupils, which are at different angles. Because of these subtle differences, some people think they're twin brothers instead of the same person; especially since they don't remember the player. If you meet either Gulliver or Gullivarrr first, the other one won't recognize the player until the second time they meet. Some people think Gulliver is just dressing as a pirate and playing a joke, others think he has amnesia, and some fans think it's a split personality situation. Personally, I think it would be kind of funny if there were just two nearly identical characters; especially since we already have the alter ego thing with a couple other NPCs. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! As always, here's pictures of Gulliver and Gullivarrr so you all can see what they look like. Enjoy!

What makes an otome game an otome game? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, otome games are dating sims specifically targeted towards women. However, not every women targeted game with a lot of pretty flirty men are otome games. But, why is this? Well, it's because you can't date them. Of course, these two genres used to be the same. But since you can generally date characters in an otome game, they were divided. Despite this, you can't always date specific characters in an otome game either; which usually happens in games with a lot of characters who all love the protagonist. As long as you get a romantic interaction, it's an otome game. But if you don't, then it isn't. It's a pretty easy way to tell these things apart. I wanted to talk about this because not everyone knows what an otome game is, especially since the category has gotten more specific fairly recently. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!
