Can all adepti shape-shift in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, adepti can often shift from animal forms to human forms. This can be seen with Xiao and Ganyu, who are usually human-like but also have adepti forms. However, there are also quite a few who have not changed their shape. Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper, and Moon Carver are all always in their animal adepti forms; and Madame Ping is also always an elderly woman. Although it's implied that all adepti can change their shapes, we actually haven't gotten any concrete evidence for this. Aside from Zhongli (who is an archon), we haven't seen any of the adepti look different than they normally do. Outside of the game, there's also been confirmation that Xiao and Ganyu can change. Even when we got a character who was assumed to be Cloud Retainer, it turned out she was someone else who simply resembled her. Because of this, it's difficult to say if the other adepti really can change. Until it actually happens, there's nothing to say they can. Although there also isn't anything saying they can't, fans shouldn't look forward to any of the current adepti getting different forms. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic.
