Should Ash Ketchum finally grow up in Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although Ash has been around for a very long time now, he's still the same age he's always been. This is much different from other long-running series that almost always age up their characters. This has been seen with Naruto, Dragon Ball, and even Yu-Gi-Oh in later years. Despite this, Ash has never aged a day. He's even had a few birthdays, but none have been permanent. Part of the fun of watching an anime for a long time is watching the characters grow with you. But Ash hasn't grown at all, which makes watching the new seasons as an adult feel odd. I know the show was originally created for kids, but those kids have long since grown up. This makes being an original fan of the series a bit difficult. None of the content has grown with us, which makes it difficult to relate to. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's hard to say if anything Pokemon related will ever change.
