It's New Year's Eve! So, this is the last post of the year yet again. I'd like to thank you all for reading my posts this year, and I hope you all have a wonderful next year. For this year's special post, I will be listing five of my favorite anime things from the past year. These aren't things that came out this year, but rather some of my obsessions from the past year. So, let's get on with the list! Enjoy! Happy New Year!

1.) Twisted Wonderland

2.) Genshin Impact

3.) Death Note

4.) Pokemon

5.) Blush Blush

Why does Kazuaki Nanaki act the way he does in Hatoful Boyfriend? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! But first! There will be some massive spoilers in this post. So proceed with caution! This question may seem pretty silly. After all, why does anyone act the way they do? But Kazuaki Nanaki is different. He's actually Hitori Uzune. However, he doesn't act like Hitori very much at all. You would think this means he acts like the real Kazuaki, but this isn't true either. The real Kazuaki is shown to be emotionally fragile and kind of whiny, and Hitori is shown to be very kind, nurturing, and brotherly. But Hitori as Kazuaki acts very tired and absent-minded. This isn't just a mix of the two personalities, either. It's almost a new personality altogether. In which case, it makes even less sense for him to have ever killed someone for their identity. If he was going to become someone else anyways, he could have easily just made up a new identity. Personally I would have liked his character more if he had just made up a new identity. I think adding in the fact that he killed someone for his plan kind of ruins him for a couple reasons. It doesn't really make sense for Hitori's character, and he acts like someone else anyways. His personality doesn't match Hitori's personality or Kazuaki-kun's personality. He's likely a bit more tired and absent-minded because of all of the stress he's been through, but he also might be a bit more laid-back because he doesn't remember very much most of the time. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Kazuaki Nanaki from Hatoful Boyfriend. But first, there will be massive spoilers for Hatoful Boyfriend in this post, so proceed with caution! Now then, let's get on with it! Kazuaki Nanaki is a character I have very mixed feelings for. On one hand, he's a very kind and caring person; even if he can be a bit absent-minded at times. But on the other hand, he's an imposter. The only reason he is who he is, is because he killed the real Kazuaki and stole his identity. Despite this, you can't even really hate him for it because most of the time he doesn't even remember doing it. This is a strange situation, because it's hard to dislike anyone for it. Of course you could dislike Hitori, since he's the one who did it. But as Kazuaki, he doesn't really remember it. In the mirror timeline, Hitori is shown to be a very kind and nurturing person, so it's difficult to dislike him as well. It's also difficult to like him though, since Kazuaki-kun was just a normal guy who was down on his luck, and his only friend betrayed him when he needed him most. As much as I like Kazuaki-kun, I actually really dislike this twist. Kazuaki Nanaki was one of my favorite characters until I found out what he had done, and now it's difficult to look at him and not think of the fact that he killed someone only so he could steal his identity. Especially since he could have easily just made up a different identity of his own that didn't require him to kill someone for it. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Imposter Kazuaki is actually a pretty strange situation because it causes a lot of confusion, and it creates a character you're supposed to dislike but still can't really dislike. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Today's blog post will be about the orphan problem in anime. There isn't anything wrong with orphans, but there are a lot of orphans when it comes to anime. Usually it's used as a way of giving a character a tragic backstory without having to put too much work into it. It's also often used as a way to make a character seem more isolated or alone, too. This trope is seen in shonen anime, but it's in some shoujo series as well. Normally only the protagonist is an orphan. But, in other series a few of the characters are. This isn't as common, but it's seen in shows like Death Note and The Promised Neverland. I don't usually have any problems with this, but after a while it gets kind of repetitive. Sometimes it's more surprising if a shonen protagonist isn't an orphan. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since it isn't like a character can stop themself from being an orphan. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I just wanted to talk about this because I find it kind of strange how many characters are orphans with no family members whatsoever. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for a list! For today's blog post, I will be listing five cute Nintendo games. These aren't necessarily games made by Nintendo, but rather games that were released for a Nintendo console. These are very calming and laid-back games, and I recommend checking them out sometime when you're looking for something relaxing to play. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Animal Crossing

2.) Cooking Mama

3.) My Sims

4.) Hello Kitty Seasons

5.) Nintendogs

Is N from Pokemon a Zoroark? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! This has been a very popular and reoccurring theory within the Pokemon fandom. N is a mysterious man, and not very much is known about him. But, he claims he can speak to Pokemon. This mixed with his mysterious nature makes fans wonder if he's really a Pokemon. People also suggest his nickname being N could also be a reference to him being a Zoroark because an N is a turned Z. Since Zoroark can transform and communicate with both humans and Pokemon, it isn't completely impossible for him to be one. I do think it's unlikely though. It would take a lot of effort for a Zoroark to always be disguised as a human. It also isn't entirely necessary for a Zoroark to do this either, since they can already communicate with humans. It's also important to note that him being able to communicate with Pokemon is only one of quite a few powers we've seen Pokemon trainers have. Although I like this theory, I think it's a bit impractical. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone! For this year's special post, I'll be talking about the Calcifer Yule Log. The Calcifer Yule Log is just a simple background fireplace with Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle as the fire. It came out a few years ago, but it returns every year. It's pretty basic, but it's fun for Studio Ghibli fans. However, this special is only available on Max. But if you're interested in a Yule Log Calcifer, there's also a two hour version of it uploaded on YouTube. Normally I would include a link to it below, but I won't be including it this time. It's pretty easy to find for those interested. As always, I'll be including a picture of the Calcifer Yule Log from Max below. Enjoy! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

It's Christmas Eve! With tomorrow being Christmas, some American news sites are suggesting using the traditional Japanese method of wrapping gifts in cloth instead of paper this year. This method is called furoshiki, and it isn't as common in modern day Japan. Gifts wrapped with this method are actually quite pretty, but most of the articles I've read about this don't really know what they're talking about. So I had to research it myself. Furoshiki is a word that refers to the cloth used, as well as the wrapping technique used for it. It was created long ago, and gifts, as well as other things, were wrapped in beautiful cloth as a sign of wealth. Eventually it became more widespread before dying down in modern day society. Now it isn't used very often, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. The art of wrapping things this way is actually pretty amazing, and using cloth to wrap can be more eco-friendly. But what happens to the cloth after you use it? Traditionally the cloth is given back to the gift-giver to be used again in the future. Some people suggest using the cloths for other projects, but furoshiki cloths really are usually only used for wrapping things. Even though most people already have their presents wrapped by now, I wanted to talk about this anyways. This topic actually is quite interesting, and sometimes you can even see things wrapped in this traditional way in anime and manga. I recommend researching this more on your own if any of you are interested in this. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! Merry Christmas Eve and Happy Holidays!

It's time to post! Today's blog post will be a list of seven anime series based on games that I like. That's it. They're just anime series based on video games. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Sonic X

2.) Kirby Right Back At Ya

3.) Pokemon

4.) Yokai Watch

5.) Obey Me

6.) Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation

7.) Diabolik Lovers

Heads up! List time! For today's blog post, I will be listing three anime games that aren't Japanese; along with a picture of each. I'm sure there are many anime games that aren't from Japan, but I wanted to list my favorites today. Some anime fans don't even consider anything that isn't from Japan. Although I guess I can understand that, I disagree. I think anime has become more of an art style than just a cartoon from Japan. If I excluded things from other places, I wouldn't have found some of my favorite things. So, let's get on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Genshin Impact (by Mihoyo, from China)

2.) Mystic Messenger (by Cheritz, from Korea)

3.) Love Unholyc (by PrettyBusy, from Korea)

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Steamboat Willie. Steamboat Willie is a Mickey Mouse cartoon that debuted in 1928. On January 1st, 2024, it will finally enter the public domain. This means Steamboat Willie and all of its characters will be free to use for the public. Many people think this marks the end of Disney or Mickey Mouse, but I disagree. Disney has many other works and versions of Mickey Mouse that won't be affected by this at all. Disney is known for many things, and they're even a big part of the anime community. They created Kingdom Hearts, Tsum Tsums, and Twisted Wonderland. They've also helped with the English dubs for Studio Ghibli movies, Pokemon, and Yokai Watch. So Disney doesn't have to worry at all. Not only this, but they still own the rights to Mickey Mouse. They'll just be losing that one version of him. I know this doesn't have very much to do with anime, but Disney is involved in many things, and people have been worried about what this means for the future of the company. Some people have even been saying Disney is retiring Mickey Mouse, even though that isn't true at all. Mickey has appeared in many things; including Kingdom Hearts and Twisted Wonderland. He's the face of Disney, and losing one version of him won't affect the company much at all. I wanted to talk about this because there's been a lot of false information floating around recently regarding this, and that doesn't help anyone at all. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

There's a new Hello Kitty collaboration! This time Sanrio has partnered with Goldfish snack crackers to create a cute new snack. The new Goldfish grahams will be strawberry shortcake flavored, and there will even be Hello Kitty shaped ones. But this collaboration will only be for a limited time, so you don't want to miss out on this! I would also personally like to mention that this isn't a sponsor, I just think these sound really tasty. The flavor choice also immediately made me think of L from Death Note, too. As always, I'll be including a picture below, as well as the link to the official Goldfish website. Enjoy!

It's time for a list! Some new Pokemon have been released, including another new evolution for Applin. It can be a little confusing when they add so many new evolutions, so I will be listing the five different Applin evolutions today; along with a picture of each. So, let's get on with the list! Enjoy!

1.) Applin

2.) Flapple

3.) Appletun

4.) Dipplin

5.) Hydrapple

It's Idia Shroud's birthday! For those of you who don't know, Idia is from Twisted Wonderland. If you log into the game on any of the characters' birthdays, you'll get a special cut scene; as well as a free tenfold key set. So don't forget to log in today! To celebrate Idia's birthday today, I'll be listing three cards from the game. So, let's get on with the pictures! Enjoy! Happy birthday Idia!

New day, new post! Today's blog post will be a list of three of my favorite anime that center around demons. There are quite a few different anime series that feature demons, but I wanted to list my three favorites for you all today. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Obey Me

2.) Sleepy Princess In The Demon Castle

3.) Welcome To Demon School Iruma-Kun

That's all for now! I know it isn't very much, but I just wanted to list my favorites today. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about one of my favorite Nintendo series that I've never played. That's right, I'm talking about Splatoon. Splatoon started out in 2015 on the WiiU. It was Nintendo's version of a family-friendly shooter game. It's now up to Splatoon 3, and it's been promoted to the Nintendo Switch. This game features adorable little squid kids who shoot each other with colored ink. The games have always been massively popular for their online features, but they're nearly worthless when Nintendo inevitably shuts down their online capabilities. Yes, you may be able to play through the single-player story mode without the internet; but you can say goodbye to Splat Fests and playing with friends. Now you have a game that you spent money on that you'll pretty much never be able to play again. But that's okay, because the games are only sixty dollars each. Don't get me wrong, I love Splatoon. It's very bright, charming, and colorful. It also has a pretty big amount of lore for such a silly game. The inability to participate online is more only Nintendo's fault, and I think Splatoon would be even more popular if the fans could still play the first game. I just wanted to talk about the bad part of Splatoon games and not just the good things. I also highly recommend going to Google and searching for Splatoon. If you click or tap on the ink splotch, you can ink your screen. I just thought that was a fun little thing. As always, here's a picture from Splatoon. Enjoy!

It's time for another list! That's right, you can't escape these lists! Well, you can. By not reading this post. But, I would be sad if you skipped this post. So please don't. For today's blog post, I will be listing five Disney sidekicks that I think should have been in Twisted Wonderland. I'll also be giving my thoughts on each one, as well. There are quite a few characters in Twisted Wonderland, but there are still some that didn't make the cut. So, I wanted to list some of them today. Now then, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Pain and Panic from Hercules - I know a lot of fans are upset about this one; myself included. This one was a huge missed opportunity. They didn't even have to be Idia's friends! They could have just been two students who secretly idolized him for some reason.

2.) Iago from Aladdin - Another missed opportunity. I would've loved to see a snarky little first year student who worshipped Jamil.

3.) Anastasia and Drizella from Cinderella - I know Cinderella didn't get a dorm, but I'm still kind of upset these two weren't included in some way.

4.) LeFou from Beauty And The Beast - I'm just saying, Coach Vargas could have had an assistant. And it would have been great.

5.) The Hyenas from The Lion King - Yes, Ruggie is a hyena. But he's only one. Where are the other two? Where are they? This is unfair treatment.

That's all I have for now. I'm sure there are more that I've missed, but I didn't want to make this list too long. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! Today's blog post will be a list of five turtle Pokemon; but unfortunately there won't be pictures this time because I ran into a bit of a technical issue. They're Pokemon, they're turtles. They're...turtle Pokemon! There's really no reason for this list. I just like turtle Pokemon. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Squirtle

2.) Turtwig

3.) Torkoal

4.) Drednaw

5.) Shuckle
(I know it's been debated whether Shuckle really is a turtle or not. I just wanted to include it.)

I apologize for the rather simple post today. I don't like making lists without pictures, but sometimes I can't help it. Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoyed it anyways!

It's time for a list! For today's blog post, I will be rating the three teachers from Hatoful Boyfriend out of ten. I'll also be giving a reason for each rating. But there's a twist! These are the mirror versions of the teachers. So there will be spoilers! And since we don't know too much about their mirror versions just yet, I'll only be basing this on the content we currently have. Now then, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Kazuaki Nanaki - 9/10 - He's very good. I like Kazuaki a lot regardless of the timeline. But he seems to kind of hate himself, so he loses a point for that.

2.) Hitori Uzune - 10/10 - Hitori is very nice and kind. Plus he seems to be very understanding and patient when it comes to Kazuaki, and very protective over Nageki as well; so he's probably a great teacher too.

3.) Shuu Iwamine - 7/10 - I love Shuu, but he's always so creepy. Why? Why is he always so cold and violent regardless of the timeline? I love his design, and he has funny moments. But I still feel like he may kill me if I ever encountered him; and I don't want to be killed by a bird doctor.

New day, new post! Fans of Hatoful Boyfriend may have seen the issue of Hato Moa not receiving royalties for any of the Hatoful Boyfriend games recently. Even if the games aren't as popular as they once were, they are still being sold; so the lack of royalties is a big problem. However, this problem has been resolved! Hato Moa recently posted on Twitter that the issues with the royalties has been fixed. She has been paid the back royalties, and she'll be paid for any further sales as well. This is wonderful news that all fans of Hatoful Boyfriend are happy to hear. I'm also quite relieved that the issue has been sorted out, since it really sucks for any artist to lose money they worked hard for. As always, I'll be including the link to the official Twitter announcement below. Enjoy!

3, 2, 1, post time! A new Genshin Impact update is coming, and that means more leaks. This time two new characters are making the rounds. Or rather, one new character. The characters are Lion Dance Boy, and Cloud Retainer. But with new leaks comes more misinformation. It's true we've been waiting for Cloud Retainer for a while now, but leaks have been wrong before. For example, there was once a time when we thought Shenhe would be Cloud Retainer. However, we have seen Cloud Retainer's human form before, so it's likely we'll get her as a playable character eventually. I have a theory we'll eventually have most, if not all, of the adepti as playable characters. But for now, I recommend taking all leaks with a grain of salt. Nothing is certain until it's officially confirmed, and things can change all the way up until they're actually added to the game. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about one of the most underrated characters in Death Note: Touta Matsuda. Matsuda is an often overlooked and underappreciated character. When the two main characters are basically geniuses, it's easy to forget that other characters are smart too. That's where Matsuda comes in. Matsuda, although not a genius, is still a smart guy. He's around the same age as Light and L, making him the youngest member of the police force. Despite this, he's still willing to take risks and put everything on the line for the sake of the case. He can easily carry out the orders given to him by L, and he has no trouble keeping up with everyone. Even when left on his own, Matsuda is still shown to be quite capable. However, he isn't very popular within the series or the fandom. That's why I think Matsuda is very underrated. He's actually a really good character who just gets overshadowed by everyone else. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! As a little bonus, here's a picture of Matsuda. Enjoy!

How big are the birds in Hatoful Boyfriend? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Hatoful Boyfriend is the dating sim known affectionately as the "pigeon dating sim" because you can date various birds in the games. Most of the birds you meet also have human versions so you can see what they'd look like, but they're still birds. The only problem is, they seem to be too big to be normal birds. Obviously they can talk, so they aren't normal birds. But it is implied that they're just normal birds who have learned to talk and do other things that were once exclusive to humans. So how big are they? No one really knows. It's a common belief within the fandom that they aren't human-sized, but they are bigger than average birds. However, I think they may actually be close to human-sized. This is because of the main character. Despite being a teenage human girl, the main character isn't too big at all. She goes to an all-bird school. So if birds really were much smaller than humans still, she would struggle to fit into everything. But she doesn't. In fact, the backgrounds in the game imply that everything is relatively human-sized. The main character doesn't tower over anything. You may argue that she's a teenager, but then I'll argue that she's 15; meaning she's close to fully grown. Even if she's a little bigger than her classmates, she isn't bigger than all of them. With the perspective, it's implied that at least Yuuya is close to her height. Even if she's a little short, she wouldn't be too short. She's said to be a healthy and strong girl, so she may even be a little big for her age. Because of this, I think it's safe to say that the birdies of Hatoful Boyfriend are close to human-sized. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I don't know if this will ever be confirmed one way or another. Whenever the birds are illustrated with their human counterparts, they're shown to be very small and bird-sized; so I'm probably wrong. Still, it's fun to think of the possibility of really big birds. As always, here's a picture of human Nageki with his birdie counterpart so you all can see for yourselves. Enjoy!

What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Wapeach again. It's been a few days since the original concept art for Wapeach was revealed, so I wanted to revisit the character and give a little update. Firstly, why was this character turned down to begin with? Well, the answer is quite simple. The design for Wapeach was rejected because she looked too much like a different character named Doronjo. Even though she doesn't look very much like her at all, Waluigi was already based on one of Doronjo's sidekicks, so the similarities were too close. As for what Mario fans think of this small Wapeach menace, they actually love her! Many fans have already fallen in love with her design, and a lot of them are very upset she hasn't been included in any games. Some fans have already started making fanart and other content of her, as well. This design has been going over incredibly well, and fans are looking forward to the possibility of seeing her officially some day. Unfortunately, the original Instagram posts have been taken down now. But we still managed to get a lot of information about her before that happened. Hopefully her massive popularity means we'll someday see her added into an official Mario game. But for now, here's a picture of her 3D model. Enjoy!

It's December! And it has been for a week now. That means the holidays are slowly approaching. So to celebrate this, I'll be listing pictures of five cute Pokemon plushies. These are official Pokemon plushies from the Pokemon Center website. Everyone loves a good plushie, so I wanted to list some of the holiday-themed ones today. I'll also be including the links to each one, as well. I suppose I'm also obligated to tell you this isn't affiliated with the Pokemon Center in any way. I just like the plushies. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

What time is it? Post time! Today's blog post will be about Wapeach from the Mario series. Fans of Mario will notice there isn't a Wapeach; only a Wario and the fan favorite Waluigi. However, the original concept art for the scrapped Wapeach has recently been revealed. Although the design was dismissed when it was originally presented, it actually seems to be going over well with the current fan base. However, some fans don't like her at all. Wapeach is a small and adorable little girl who's said to be a brat. She was going to have a bad attitude, and one of her concept art drawings show her wielding an axe. Wapeach being a small and cute character actually makes some sense. It's a good contrast to Wario and Waluigi, and it mirrors Princess Peach well. Princess Peach is actually one of the taller Mario characters, and she's seen as very proper, attractive, and feminine. So Wapeach being a short and childish bully character fits pretty well. I wasn't expecting this design for a Wapeach, but I actually really like how it looks. Since she looks very cute, it also subverts your expectations a bit. I would personally love to see a Mario game add this adorable little devil at some point, and I know other fans feel the same way. As always, I will be including a picture of her concept art below so you all can see what she looks like. Enjoy!

Heads up! Another list is coming your way! Today's blog post will be a list of five food Pokemon, along with a picture of each. Whether these Pokemon just smell like food or are actually partially edible, they're all still considered food Pokemon. There's actually quite a few Pokemon that either smell like food or are food in a way, but I'll only be listing the ones that are actually supposed to resemble food today. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Swirlix

2.) Cherubi

3.) Alcremie

4.) Dachsbun

5.) Appletun

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about one of my favorite overlooked Pokemon games. The Pokemon series has had a lot of games outside of the main ones, and one of those games was Hey You Pikachu. Hey You Pikachu was made for the Nintendo 64, and it came out in 1998. It's a very cute and charming little game that used a special microphone that lets you speak to your Pikachu. However, it can be very frustrating. The game follows your Pikachu as it goes about its daily life. While you watch your adorable little Pikachu wander around, you can talk to it and give it commands through a microphone; then you can watch Pikachu ignore you. The mini games available are pretty fun, and this game was very impressive when I was young. As frustrating as the voice commands can be, the game can actually be pretty fun too. It isn't perfect, but it's still pretty charming in a retro way. I recommend checking it out if you ever have the opportunity; as long as you don't mind being ignored by a Pikachu repeatedly while you're desperately trying to just get it to come over to you. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Today's blog post will be about my least favorite Genshin Impact quest. But first, there will be spoilers! So proceed with caution. Now then, on with it! My least favorite quest in Genshin Impact is Interlude: Inversion Of Genesis. Now, those who have completed this  know it as "the quest where you name Scaramouche". Personally, I know it as "none of this even had to happen". This entire quest was dedicated to not only a plotline that didn't need to happen, but also treating Scaramouche like trash and making him relive his most painful memories. The entire quest could have been avoided if someone had gotten involved, but they didn't. Instead, they spent the whole time telling Scaramouche what a failure he was. Even after learning about his painful past and seeing why he did what he did, everyone still basically said "yeah, but you're still a jerk". I don't often forgive characters who have done a lot of bad things, but Scaramouche is an exception. He was essentially just a child when things started going downhill for him, and things didn't get any better even when he tried to still be good. He was hurt, bitter, and angry. And no one tried to help him. Instead, they just looked on in horror, or even encouraged it. No one ever taught him right from wrong. And by the time he learned, it was too late. He couldn't change what he had already done. When given the chance to correct his mistakes, he was willing to sacrifice himself and leave nothing behind. And still, no one stopped him. Ultimately his sacrifice was for nothing, and those who knew him still call him evil. It isn't right, or fair. Instead of helping him, they just put him through even more torment. Now, all of Teyvat has forgotten him; which was ultimately for nothing. This quest is so awful. There's almost nothing worse than seeing a damaged character who has been hurt and tortured for years be further hurt. Not only that, but now he can never truly apologize for anything he has done. So when he was finally able to face his past mistakes, he couldn't do anything to help those he had hurt. That's why I don't like this quest. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's time for another Culinary Crucible in Twisted Wonderland! One of my personal favorite events. This time the subject is: noodles. There are actually quite a few dishes that feature noodles, so this choice makes sense. For those of you who don't know, the Culinary Crucible, or Master Chef event, is a reoccurring cooking event. Each version includes two characters, and you spend the event gathering ingredients and figuring out recipes. To make things a little easier, you're usually given the ingredients for the first recipe when you join the event. That means you'll always have at least one recipe unlocked. This event is currently ongoing on the English server, and it just started today. So if you want to participate, now's the time! As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

Why is L so strong in Death Note? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There will be some minor spoilers for Death Note though, so proceed with caution! Now then, let's get on with it! Every Death Note fan knows about L, the unassuming and messy-haired detective with a very large amount of fangirls; for some reason. But throughout the series, he's shown to actually be quite strong, fit, and sometimes even active. But how can this be when he spends most of his time sitting? Well, it's actually most likely because he spends most of his time sitting. L doesn't sit normally. Instead, he crouches wherever he wants to sit. He sits like this at least 85% of the time, and everyone who has tried to mimic L knows how much of a workout sitting like this can be. But he isn't bothered by it at all, and he even finds it comfortable. Sitting in this way probably keeps him in pretty good shape because he's nearly constantly burning calories; which could be why he eats so much as well. I know the creators of Death Note just wanted him to seem a bit odd, but I think this could actually be a pretty good explanation for why he stays so fit despite eating so many sweets. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I know L mentioned that he doesn't gain weight as long as he uses his brain. But given how much he eats, that kind of seems like a silly explanation. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Who is Jack Howl based on in Twisted Wonderland? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, Jack Howl is a wolf. Although that makes sense for why he's in the Savanaclaw dorm, it doesn't make sense when you think about what the Savanaclaw dorm is based on. Savanaclaw is based on the movie The Lion King, and there were no wolves in that movie. There were hyenas, but not wolves. So, why is Jack in Savanaclaw? And what is he based on, if not a character from The Lion King? Well, I have a theory! Which Disney movie has wolves in it? That's right, Beauty And The Beast. There isn't a dorm based on Beauty And The Beast, so it makes sense that he wouldn't fit in with a different dorm. As for why he's in Savanaclaw, it's actually been mentioned in the game that most beastmen end up in Savanaclaw; so he was put there because he would fit in with the other beastmen. Jack's origin is a somewhat common question within the fandom, and there have been a few theories about it now. I think this one most likely makes the most sense. Since there isn't a dorm for Beauty And The Beast, any characters based on that movie will have to be placed in different areas instead. I would also like to mention that leaving LeFou out was a bit of a missed opportunity, but maybe that's just me. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's my birthday! Yay! I don't normally mention my birthday on here, but I've decided to this year. I'd like to thank Idia Shroud from Twisted Wonderland for remembering my birthday, and giving me a free tenfold key set as a present. I'd also like to thank Genshin Impact for the cake, and Dream Girlfriend for the happy birthday wishes and the free gacha ticket and rainbow drink. I know they're all games, but it makes me very happy to see such kind words on my birthday; even if it's just programmed that way. Also, for those readers who have been following my blog for a while, you'll notice this means I have a birthday twin! That's right! The Sanrio Boy Yuzu Wakano is my birthday twin. He also just happens to love one of my favorite Sanrio characters, Kirimichan! So, happy birthday Yuzu Wakano! And thank you all for your ongoing support! I love each and every one of you! As a friend. Please don't form a strange parasocial relationship with me. As a bonus, here's a picture of the birthday boy himself! My birthday twin, Yuzu Wakano! Enjoy!

It's time for another post! But first, let me ask you all a question. What does Genshin Impact have in common with the song Bohemian Rhapsody (made by the amazing band Queen)? The answer is one word: Scaramouche. This post will have some pretty heavy spoilers for Scaramouche's story, so proceed with caution! As many fans have noticed by now, Scaramouche has a lot of references to the song Bohemian Rhapsody. His name is the most noticeable one, but there are so many more. For example, one of his English voice lines mentions he's no fan of dango, which is a reference to Fandango. His mother is also Ei, who is known as Beelzebub (or Beelzebul, depending on who you ask). Scaramouche also wishes he had never been born at all, and he feels like nobody loves him. These are all things that can be found in the song. Along with this, he used the electro gnosis in his boss fight; giving him access to "thunderbolts and lightning". When he gained a vision, it was an anemo vision. Which would be a reference to "any way the wind blows". There are so many more references than this, so I'll be including the link for Bohemian Rhapsody below so you all can see for yourselves. I know other fans have noticed the similarities, but I don't think anyone has realized just how far this goes. Personally I think this makes his character even better, since Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favorite songs. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

So, let's get on with the list already! Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be giving my thoughts on the movie The Tale Of Princess Kaguya. There will be some major spoilers for the ending of the movie though, so proceed with caution if you've never seen the movie before. I think this movie is better if it's experienced without being spoiled first, so I would recommend watching it before reading this post if you haven't already. Now then, let's get on with it! The Tale Of Princess Kaguya is a Studio Ghibli movie from the year 2013. This movie is an adaptation of the traditional Japanese folktale The Tale Of The Bamboo Cutter. The movie itself is very beautifully drawn. It isn't visually similar to other Studio Ghibli movies, but it's still very pretty. I really like the way it resembles traditional Japanese artwork. The story itself is pretty good. It's something of a tragedy, and it's actually a bit depressing to watch. However, it's a wonderful adaptation of the original story. It can be a little hard to follow, but it's easy to figure out what's happening as the movie progresses. Despite this, the story leaves a bit of a bad aftertaste. It's a beautifully animated movie, and it really is a good adaptation. But, it's just sad. By the end of the movie, the whole thing feels a bit empty. I may be one of the only ones who feels this way, but watching the main character who you've grown attached to slowly become more and more miserable and ultimately lose everything she ever loved and cared about is just awful. I do like parts of this movie, but it isn't one I'd watch over and over again. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. To end on a somewhat positive note, I do love the animation; and the voice actors did an amazing job. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's Thanksgiving Day! Normally for Thanksgiving, I would list some Thanksgiving-themed anime pictures for you all. Thanksgiving is an American holiday, so there isn't very much anime content for it. However, Thanksgiving is a day for giving thanks. So to thank you all for your support, I made a picture instead this year. I hope you all enjoy it! I know one picture isn't as exciting, but it was a bit more work than usual. So, it's time for the big reveal! Drumroll please!

Ta da! I hope you all have a wonderful day! And for any Twisted Wonderland fans out there, remember to log in so you can check out the special Thanksgiving Day bundles. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the movie Pom Poko. Pom Poko is a Studio Ghibli movie, and it came out in 1994. However, I won't be talking about the movie in general. Instead, I'll be giving my thoughts on it. Pom Poko is one of the lesser known Studio Ghibli movies. But, that doesn't mean it's bad. I mostly find the movie a bit hard to follow, and it can be a bit boring at times. It can take a while with wasting time on things that don't matter very much in the long run, which isn't a great thing for a standalone movie. It can also get pretty weird, and sometimes it's hard to understand exactly what's going on at all. There's also something about the English dub that bothers me, even though that isn't really the movie's fault. For a little context, Pom Poko is about Tanuki; which are raccoon dogs. But the dub translates them as just raccoons, and it spends the whole movie doing this. Normally I prefer the English dub, and it really does have some amazing voice actors. But it does bother me. I knew what the movie was about, but most people probably wouldn't know they're supposed to be raccoon dogs and not raccoons. It also would've been easier to translate it correctly as either just Tanuki or raccoon dogs. But, I digress. Those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I do kind of like this movie, and I recommend it if you like other Studio Ghibli films. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

What time is it? Post time! Today's blog post will be a list of some of the most common Yokai that appear in anime; along with a very brief description of each. Yokai are still a pretty big part of Japanese culture, so it makes sense that they make appearances in anime. But first, for those of you who don't know, Yokai are Japanese spirits. There are many different Yokai, and I recommend looking into them if you're interested in Japanese culture. Now then, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Kitsune - The transforming fox spirit; often called the nine-tailed fox.

2.) Tanuki - Raccoon dogs! They can also transform; among other things.

3.) Oni - A type of Japanese demon.

4.) Tengu - A mischievous spirit, but not necessarily bad.

5.) Chōchin-Obake - A living Japanese lantern that is often shown with one big eye and a sticking out tongue.

That's all I have for now! I might do another one of these in the future, since there are a lot of Yokai in anime. But for now, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for a list! Today's blog post will be a list of six tall Genshin Impact boys I like, along with a picture of each. I usually list short boys on this blog, and I think that's unfair to the tall guys. So, I decided to make up for it today. There's also a few that I absolutely adore, but don't include on lists very often. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Childe

2.) Arataki Itto

3.) Kaeya

4.) Baizhu

5.) Diluc

6.) Zhongli

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the most wanted characters who weren't included in Twisted Wonderland. Twisted Wonderland already has a pretty decently sized cast of characters. But, there are three characters that fans really want to see. These are the characters that I see mentioned most of all when the fans talk about missed opportunities. Who are these characters? None other than Pain, Panic, and Iago. For those of you who don't know, Pain and Panic are from Hercules. This means characters based on them would've been in Ignihyde. Iago is from Aladdin, which means a character based on him would have been in Scarabia. I personally agree when fans say this was a huge missed opportunity. First of all, these characters are really popular. Iago especially is a much loved character. Secondly, Ignihyde and Scarabia are such small dorms! Both of them only have two characters each, and both of the characters in Ignihyde are based on Hades. That is a tragedy. Adding characters based on Pain, Panic, and Iago would've been so fun to see! Scarabia and Ignihyde both could use some more characters, and not having these characters is just silly. They're fan favorites! Maybe we'll see something based on them in the future, but as of right now they're just wasted potential. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's list time! For today's blog post, I will be listing three unusual dating sims. There are a few odd dating sims out there. So, I decided to list a few of them today. Enjoy!

1.) Hatoful Boyfriend - Have you ever wanted to date pigeons? Of course you have! With this amazing dating sim, you can now live your lifelong dream! Come for the birds, stay for the story. (I don't condone the dating of real birds. Don't do that.)

2.) Blush Blush - Did you accidentally turn a bunch of guys into animals? And then did you have to make them fall in love with you to change them back? Well, now you can relive that experience! Now with more cute boys than ever!

3.) Burn Your Fat With Me (For Girls) - Mixing exercise with a dating sim would be a great idea! If those boys didn't spend the whole time telling you how fat you are. At least the exercise part is pretty useful.

Will there ever be another Eevee evolution in Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Eevee is known for the many Pokemon it can evolve into. But for a long time now, there have been no new evolutions. There were times when fans thought a new evolution was being teased, only for it to be something else entirely. There's been Eeveelution leaks for nearly every new generation, as well. But when the game is released, there's no sign of a new Eeveelution. This has been very disappointing for fans, because many fans have been waiting years for another Eeveelution. There's a lot of potential in this line, and there are many Pokemon types that would make for interesting Eevee evolutions. It's hard to say if there ever will be another Eevee evolution; especially since I've talked about this topic for years and there's been no evidence that points to a possible evolution. I think not making any more Eevee evolutions would be a waste of potential, and it would disappoint fans greatly. There are a lot of fans who still want new Eeveelutions. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time for another new blog post! Today's blog post will be about my favorite cringey anime. Normally when someone says an anime is cringey, you don't want anything to do with it. But, I genuinely love this one. And that anime, is Diabolik Lovers. This anime is based on the otome games of the same name, and it's been pretty much forgotten by the anime community. It does have some fans, but not many. Truthfully, it can be a bit difficult to watch at times. But I still love it. It's so much fun to make jokes and have a good time while watching it. Sometimes it can get incredibly ridiculous, and I can't help but laugh. I know it isn't meant to be funny, but I like it because I find it funny. Diabolik Lovers also has a very pretty and gothic animation style that I adore. The voice actors also did a wonderful job. I've watched the English sub and the English dub, and both of them were very good. It's very hard to find the English dub though. If you think it would be easier to just buy the DVD of it; it isn't. The Blu-ray version is still currently available, but it's nearly impossible to find a normal DVD of it. Aside from making fun of the show, I really do like it. My favorite character is Kanato, even though he's practically insane. I recommend this show if you like cringey vampire romance things. I don't recommend it if you get uncomfortable easily. As a little bonus, here's a picture of Kanato. Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about visions in Genshin Impact. Visions are common to see throughout the world of Teyvat. They're given to people who have strong ambitions, and a vision usually reflects the vision bearer in some way. Visions grant their users the ability to control the element it's associated with. Pyro visions control fire, electro visions control electricity, geo visions control stone, hydro visions control water, cryo visions control ice, anemo visions control wind, and dendro visions control plants. Each vision is also shaped based on where they're from. Each nation has a different vision shape, so visions from that region will usually be shaped the same way; or at least in a similar way. The shape of a vision isn't based on where the vision bearer is from; it's instead based on where they receive that vision. Visions are considered very powerful as well, and vision bearers are much stronger than other people. A vision is also like an extension of the person who uses it. It carries their hopes and ambitions, and it will stop working if its user dies. As always, I will be including a picture of a Mondstadt anemo vision below so you all can see what it looks like. Enjoy!

It's post time! For today's blog post, I will be listing five dragon-type Pokemon; along with a picture of each. Although I don't often list dragon-type Pokemon on this blog in general, this list actually has a twist. I'm only listing dragon-type Pokemon that are nothing like dragons. I thought it would be a fun idea. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Vibrava

2.) Kingdra

3.) Sliggoo

4.) Noibat

5.) Tatsugiri
