It's New Year's Eve! So for this year's special post, I'll be listing five anime I started watching this year. Should Light Yagami be considered a villain? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! There will be spoilers though, so proceed with caution! Now then, let's get on with it! I've personally talked about Light's somewhat ambiguous alignment before, but I haven't really talked about if he would be a villain or not. The word villain has become a somewhat caroonishly evil word, but it may still fit. Although he started out wanting to help people, Light turned down a very dark path. He became a serial killer with god-like ambitions, and in the process he lost most of himself and his humanity. It's easy to say the Death Note itself corrupted him, but I don't think that's the case at all. It wasn't the Death Note itself, but rather the power it gave him. There have been other Death Note owners who didn't become so corrupted, so it isn't the notebook's fault. However, I'm sure there are many real humans who would go absolutely mad with power if given this chance. After all, a name on a page is much different than seeing the person themself. But to counter this argument, Light continued killing even after seeing people die right in front of him. He was very aware of what he was doing, but he saw everyone and everything as a means to an end; like it was a sort of game. He didn't care who he used for what, or why he used them. They were all just pawns to him, and he eventually started taking pride in his work and sense of justice. Because of this, I think I can safely say he is a villain. He may have started with good intentions, but in the end that means nothing. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I know there are many fans of Light, and that's fine. But I couldn't imagine living in a twisted world of his creation, where people would be killed for doing even the slightest thing against his will. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Why are there no small boy characters in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although this may seem like an odd question, many fans have been wondering about this. With all of the new characters coming out, it's odd we still haven't gotten a little boy yet. This shouldn't be an issue, but we've actually gotten quite a few little girl characters so far. There hasn't even been a single leak indicating we'll get one in the future. So, where are they? It's rather odd we haven't seen anything about it at all. It isn't because a boy wouldn't be popular, because many fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing what one would look like. It also isn't because young boys aren't popular, since many fans also love the young boy characters we already have. It could be because there isn't a small boy model yet, but they could add one. Adding a new model would add quite a bit of variety to the game, even if it doesn't seem like it would. I know there are more girl characters than boy characters, but I find it extremely odd that there are so many small girl characters but not a single small boy character. Small girl characters have actually been being added relatively frequently recently, which makes it even stranger. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. We haven't been given any answers for this so far, and it's unlikely we'll get one anytime soon. I personally am curious to know what a small boy character would look like, since the girls have different models than the NPCs. It's difficult to say if we ever will get one, though. It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about Yoosung from Mystic Messenger. Yoosung is my second favorite Mystic Messenger character, but I hardly ever talk about him because of how much I like 707. So, I decided to talk about Yoosung today. Yoosung is a young, bright boy who is also very gullible. Although the other members treat him like a child, he's actually really close to Seven's age. He's also one of the characters who loves the MC in every route you play. Many people think Seven is the only one who does this, but that isn't true at all. Yoosung is very kind and caring, and he warms up to the MC right away. Many people often think he had a crush on Rika because of his obsession with her, but he really just greatly admired her. Rika inspired Yoosung to be who he is now, so it was devastating when he lost her. Even though Yoosung often compares the MC with Rika, this isn't why he likes the MC. He just admired Rika so much that he feels like having her traits makes someone a better person. However, Yoosung is also very naïve. Since he lived a pretty sheltered life, he doesn't have much experience outside of his school, family, and the RFA. This is why it's always so easy for Seven to trick him. Despite this, he still considers Seven and the other RFA members his close friends. He's very bright and cheerful as well, which is one of the reasons why everyone likes him so much. It's Christmas Eve! So I present to you, Santa hat Pikachu! The Santa hat Pikachu is a special Pikachu that appears during Christmas events in Pokemon Go. Although I'm not sure if this Pikachu has been added this year, there are often other Pokemon that can be found wearing festive attire in the wild. As you all may have guessed, I prefer the Eevees myself. However, the Santa hat Pikachu is the most well-known holiday variation. For those of you who somehow don't know, this is a Pikachu wearing a Santa hat for the holidays. Along with this, there have been many different festive Pokemon over the years. If any of you happen to catch any Pokemon with variations, don't evolve it! The festive clothes will fall off if you do, never to be seen again. What time is it? Post time! It's been rather cold and snowy recently, so I've decided to talk about something else cold: ice. Or rather, the Vocaloid band Ice Mountain. I fooled you all for a moment there, didn't I? I have once again been sucked into the vortex that is Ice Mountain. But to my disappoint, there still isn't very much content for them. Kiyoteru Hiyama might be relatively popular on his own, but content for his band is severely lacking. Since my favorite band member is Natsuki Hokaze, I'm sure others can understand my disappointment. I've found quite a few people who were very excited about an actual Vocaloid band. I mean, Vocaloid characters who exist solely to help with immersion for videos and concerts? That's awesome! If they became popular enough, the other band members may have even gotten voices of their own. But alas, their initial reveal was a flop. Since then, Kiyoteru has only been marketed on his own. No mention of his band at all. If they acquired a bigger fan base, this Vocaloid band could go far. But as of right now, all we have is a few pictures and a handful of songs. Hopefully we'll get more in the future. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post.

It's time for another new post. I've been putting off doing this post for a while, but I suppose I'll talk about it now. Ash and Pikachu are officially leaving the Pokemon anime. Although many fans are glad to see them go, I'm actually rather upset about it. I grew up with the anime, and Ash, Pikachu, and Team Rocket have been the only constants throughout the series. Since the main characters are leaving, there's a good chance Team Rocket will be next. Ash and Pikachu may be leaving because their stories are finished, but I genuinely don't know how the anime will be without them. Everyone else is so excited to see them go, so it feels weird to be one of the only ones actually upset about this news. But, I've known Ash and Pikachu my whole life. Pikachu is the brand's mascot. Without Ash, Pikachu is just another Pokemon. I'm also a huge fan of Team Rocket, and I'm worried they'll have to leave as well. Their stories revolved around Ash and his Pikachu, but no one seems to care about this at all. I'm curious about what they'll do without them, but the anime doesn't really feel like Pokemon without these recognizable characters. Maybe they'll bring them back here and there in the future, but that isn't really the same thing. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post.

It's post time! Today is actually December 21st, which is 12/21. Because of this, I wanted to talk about a neat little thing in a game I grew up with. In Dark Cloud 2, there's a small puzzle given to you by the mayor. In it, you have to give him the correct combination to his safe. The puzzle is actually extraordinarily unremarkable, but it was interesting enough to me that I remembered it today when I noticed the date. This is because the combination to his safe is 1221. The combination to his safe is actually his daughter's birthday, as well. It can be a bit tricky at first, but now almost anyone who plays the game already knows it because of the answers online. I would actually highly recommend playing this game. I prefer Dark Cloud 2 over Dark Cloud, and so many things remind me of it. It has great music, a great story, and it's pretty easy for beginners. It originally came out in 2003 (or in Japan in 2002 with the name Dark Chronicle), but it has since been remastered for newer game systems. Now that I've rambled on for a bit about this kind of old puzzle in a video game, I'll be including a picture from the game below. Enjoy!

Are Razor and Cyno related in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although this may seem like a ridiculous question to ask, many fans have actually been wondering about this. Even though Razor is from Mondstadt and Cyno is from Sumeru, they do share some similarities. They're both electro users, they have similar hair colors, they're both associated with wolf-like animals, and....maybe that's it. I suppose it wouldn't be impossible for there to be a relation between them, but I find it highly unlikely. Razor is only associated with wolves because he was raised by them, and Cyno is associated with Anubis because of his ties with judgement. Not to mention relatives generally don't have the same vision types, as seen with Barbara and Jean. Even hair color doesn't necessarily mean anything, since other characters have the same exact hair color. Although I would love if there was some kind of connection between them, at the moment I think it's all just a coincidence. But those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic, anyways. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Would L have been able to live without Watari in Death note? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post. There will be some spoilers though, so proceed with caution. For those of you who don't know, L was found by Watari as a small child. He was a nameless orphan who Watari brought to his orphanage. From that day, Watari took care of him. Even after he became an adult, L was incredibly dependent on Watari. Watari fed him, clothed him, and even invented a human washing machine so L could bathe frequently. Watari treated him like a small child, even after L was grown. Because of this, I think L would've been pretty helpless on his own. As an adult, L only ate sweets, asked Watari for everything, hardly slept, stayed inside most of the time, and didn't even take care of himself. Without Watari, it's hard to say if L would have even survived. Since he lived a highly secluded lifestyle, there wouldn't have even been someone else who could have stepped up to take Watari's place. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I'm sure there are many L fans saying "I would take care of him!". But you don't count, so sit back down. As far as Death Note lore goes, none of you would have even met him anyways. It's post time once again! For today's blog post, I will be talking about the archons' genders in Genshin Impact. There will be some spoilers though, so proceed with caution. Now that that's out of the way, let's get on with it! For some reason, this topic pops up quite frequently; especially for poor Venti. Although most archons have a set gender that they've always been, that isn't true for all of them. Most archons are not born archons, and they instead rise to power after they've been chosen by Celestia; normally after the previous archon is defeated. Because of this, some of them have forms from before they were archons. This is true for both Barbatos and Morax, who both lacked human forms. Morax was an illuminated beast like the other adepti, and Barbatos was a wind spirit. Zhongli is currently a male archon, but has disguised himself as an older woman in the past. Venti has the appearance of a dear friend he had lost, but he may still have chosen a male form regardless. Or he may have remained genderless. As of now though, his form and status as a bard are because he is honoring his friend. As for the other archons, we've seen nothing to suggest they're anything other than what they currently are; although there's a chance they can shift their shapes if they want to as well. Regardless, I just wanted to talk about this because I've noticed people are still questioning Venti's gender. The archons are what they are, okay? And Venti can be ambiguous if he wants, even if his ambiguity is just because he looks like a young boy. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! For todays blog post, I will be talking about Studio Ghibli's newest upcoming film. The new film is currently titled How Do You Live, since it's based on the novel of the same name. However, it's unclear if this title will stay the same for its release. This movie has been in production for a few years now, and it was created by Hayao Miyazaki himself. It's expected to have the same beloved animation style Studio Ghibli movies are known for, and it's set to release in Japan on July 14th, 2023. Although not much is known about the movie so far, it has been an important project for Hayao Miyazaki. It's the movie that brought him back out of retirement, and everyone has been working hard to make this project perfect. It's unknown if this movie will follow its book counterpart closely or not, but knowing Studio Ghibli I'm sure they're planning on adding their own personal flair to it. This project has been long overdo with all of the effort that has been put into it, and I'm sure it will be just as good as previous films released by Studio Ghibli. But as of right now, fans are still eagerly awaiting its arrival. There has been one picture released for it so far, and as always I will be including it below. Enjoy!

Do old Pokemon need new evolutions? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post. With new generations of Pokemon games, there's always new Pokemon. But recently, old Pokemon have also been getting new evolutions. Although I understand that many older Pokemon from previous generations are often very popular, adding anything new to something old can be very tricky. Fans already love the current Pokemon, which is why they're so popular in the first place. Making regional variants for them is different; since the original Pokemon is still there. I will admit the original Pokemon is still there when an evolution is added, but not really in the same way. Along with this, it brings up the question "Where has this evolution been this whole time?". Saying an evolution is only possible in a specific region helps explain this away, but sometimes we aren't even given that. This becomes especially risky when adding a new pre-evolution. This has been done before, and it really doesn't make sense. A Pokemon can't stop being a baby and turn into something else entirely spontaneously. Some of you may say "well maybe they've always evolved from this Pokemon without us knowing". Firstly, that wouldn't really make sense. Why wouldn't we know? Secondly. this also just isn't true. There was a baby Pikachu in the anime before Pichu was created. This piece of evidence has been one of the biggest arguments against us not knowing about a pre-evolution. I'm not saying old Pokemon shouldn't ever get new evolutions or pre-evolutions. Some fans really like when an old Pokemon is given attention. I just personally think it would be a safer decision to make regional or mega evolution variants of the Pokemon instead. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. Yaoyao has finally been revealed! For those of you who don't know, Yaoyao is a Genshin Impact character who was revealed quite a while ago in some official artwork. However, she was never put in the game. She was never even talked about in any way after her reveal. Many people assumed this was because she was a dendro character, and dendro hadn't been released yet. But even after dendro was released, there was no sign of Yaoyao. A little later, another picture of Yaoyao was released, but there was still no sign of her official release. But as of a few days ago, she was officially revealed as an upcoming character on Genshin Impact's official accounts. The reveal shows her official character card, and it reveals some important information about her. Fans are very excited to see she's finally been released, especially since fans have been anxiously awaiting her addition for years now. To avoid spoilers, I wont be giving the details about her on here just yet. Instead, I'll be including the link for the official Instagram post below; as well as her official character card. Enjoy!

It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about my favorite kitsune in anime so far. I won't say he's my favorite kitsune in general, since I haven't seen many anime with kitsune yet. But as of right now, my favorite is....(drumroll please) Kyubi from Yokai Watch! Ta da! Kyubi is pretty funny in general, and I really like how he's portrayed in the series. However, I don't like the crush he had on Katie in the show. He was clearly much older than her and it was kind of creepy. But other than that, he's a really good character. His transformation powers are handled really well, and he works well in both comedic and serious scenarios. I also really like his design. His normal fox form is incredibly pretty, and it fits well with the kitsune mentioned in folklore. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It is my opinion, after all. 3, 2, 1, post time! Today's blog post will be about Topcraft. Topcraft was a Japanese animation studio that disbanded in 1985. However, this studio laid out the foundations for Studio Ghibli. Before it disbanded, they worked with Rankin/Bass to make things like the animated Hobbit, The Last Unicorn, and Thundercats (under the name Pacific Animation Corporation). This studio actually had quite a few projects to its name. But it eventually disbanded after becoming bankrupt. After it was disbanded, many animators went on to create Studio Ghibli. Some animators also went to work for other studios like Studio Pierrot. Along with this, one very well-known movie was created under studio Topcraft's name. Although it's known as a Studio Ghibli movie now, Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind was originally created before this studio disbanded. Topcraft is hardly known now, but without it we wouldn't have many of the amazing anime movies and shows we have now. It's really incredible how much of a difference one thing can make. What time is it? Post time! The blog post for today will be a Meowscarada appreciation post. When the new Pokemon Meowscarada was revealed, many fans were upset to find it was another bipedal human-like Pokemon. But not I! No! I was actually pretty impressed with its design. Meowscarada was bound to be another bipedal evolution, but it actually turned out really well. It also turned out to be a grass/dark-type Pokemon, and dark-types are some of my favorite Pokemon. Sprigatito was already my favorite new starter, and I was pretty worried when the leaks said it would be yet another waifu Pokemon. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually pretty gender-neutral. There are already so many pretty or buff Pokemon that it was refreshing to see it wasn't wearing a fur dress or fur socks this time. It's honestly kind of weird that that's even a thing, but that's a different conversation. I'm sure there are other people who also like Meowscarada, but I still wanted to do a little appreciation post for it. As always, I will be including a picture of Meowscarada below. Enjoy!

 

It's post time! Today's blog post will be about the newest Genshin Impact update. Not much has been released for the new update yet, but the banners for Arataki Itto and the Wanderer are out now. The new Genius Invocation TCG card game is available now as well, and it finally allows the players access to the Cat's Tail Tavern in Mondstadt. The newest story quest is available now too, and more events are on their way. Since this update marks the official release of Scaramouche as a playable character, the new story quest also features him. Many fans were surprised to find out his element would be anemo, but it seems to fit him pretty well. If you're interested in any of the banner characters but you're still unsure about if you want them, the trial run is available as always this update. Trying out Itto and Wanderer will reward you with 20 primogems each regardless. With the new quests and events will also come more primogems, so you all should have some time to build up for whatever characters you may want. As always, I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! Is Xiao emotionless in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post. There may be some spoilers, though. So proceed with caution. For most people, Xiao seems very cold and uncaring. It seems like there are few things to suggest otherwise. However, there have actually been quite a few things to suggest otherwise. If you have Xiao, his voice lines make it clear that he cares for the traveler. He has also saved the traveler more than once during story quests. Aside from the traveler, he has shown a bit of care for the other adepti, and he also goes out of his way to help humans and ghosts. So why does he seem so uncaring? Well, it's actually for a few reasons. First of all, adepti are usually very formal creatures. The ones who are more casual are often part human, or they have lived with humans for a long time. Xiao has lost many companions in the past as well, which would make it difficult for him to make new connections. Finally, Xiao is plagued with his karmic burden. The corruption not only affects him, but also those around him. This means he has to keep his distance for their own safety. This is actually the main reason Xiao is very distant. Not only is he not familiar with other people, but it's dangerous for others too. I know I've talked about Xiao and his personality a few times already, but it's just because I've seen so many people see him as a cold loner when that isn't the case at all. Regardless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post.

Can all adepti shape-shift in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! For those of you who don't know, adepti can often shift from animal forms to human forms. This can be seen with Xiao and Ganyu, who are usually human-like but also have adepti forms. However, there are also quite a few who have not changed their shape. Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper, and Moon Carver are all always in their animal adepti forms; and Madame Ping is also always an elderly woman. Although it's implied that all adepti can change their shapes, we actually haven't gotten any concrete evidence for this. Aside from Zhongli (who is an archon), we haven't seen any of the adepti look different than they normally do. Outside of the game, there's also been confirmation that Xiao and Ganyu can change. Even when we got a character who was assumed to be Cloud Retainer, it turned out she was someone else who simply resembled her. Should Ash Ketchum finally grow up in Pokemon? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Although Ash has been around for a very long time now, he's still the same age he's always been. This is much different from other long-running series that almost always age up their characters. This has been seen with Naruto, Dragon Ball, and even Yu-Gi-Oh in later years. Despite this, Ash has never aged a day. He's even had a few birthdays, but none have been permanent. Part of the fun of watching an anime for a long time is watching the characters grow with you. But Ash hasn't grown at all, which makes watching the new seasons as an adult feel odd. I know the show was originally created for kids, but those kids have long since grown up. This makes being an original fan of the series a bit difficult. None of the content has grown with us, which makes it difficult to relate to. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's hard to say if anything Pokemon related will ever change. What time is it? Post time! For today's blog post, I will be rating three Project Diva games. These ratings will be out of ten, and they will be based solely on my opinions. I've also played all of these games for years, so I can give my honest thoughts on them. I will also be giving a short reason for each rating. So, let's get on with it! Enjoy!

1.) Project Diva X - 7/10 - This game is pretty good, but it doesn't have very much content. Almost every song belongs to Hatsune Miku, and the interactions with the Vocaloids are limited. Which is a shame, since this is the first game to focus on their personalities.

2.) Project Diva Future Tone - 8/10 - This one has many songs, which lets every Vocaloid shine a bit. There are also more customization options. But there are no character interactions and the base gameplay gets boring pretty quickly.

3.) Project Diva F 2nd - 9/10 - This one is my favorite Project Diva game so far. There may not be as many songs as Future Tone, but there are a lot of ways to interact with the Vocaloids. Yes it can get boring, but I've spent hours spending time with the Vocaloids in this game. Even if you leave them be, they're always doing something on their own. And with the various items, you can even set alarms for yourself and play music in the diva rooms.

It's time to post. Today's blog post will be about Lawless from Servamp. There will be some spoilers, though. So proceed with caution. Although I've talked about Lawless a few times already, it feels like there's always more to add. Lawless is one of the more tragic characters in the show, even though nearly all of them have their own issues. His problems with attachment can make him seem very cruel, since they lead to him killing his eves when he gets bored of them. However, this is simply because he doesn't want to get too attached to them. After losing the only person he ever loved, he couldn't bring himself to care for anyone else. Killing his eves may seem extreme, but that's the only way to get rid of them once they're bound. Servamps also have no say in if they're bound or not, so it likely isn't Lawless's fault he kept getting eves. He has mentioned that he picks talented eves, but that doesn't mean he really does. Maybe in the past he was hoping to connect with someone else, or maybe he's always been too scared to get attached again. We'll never know for sure. But aside from his violent side, it's easy to sympathize with his pain. Regardless, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post.

Are bipedal Pokemon bad? Well, that's what I'll be talking about in today's blog post! Many fans are highly against bipedal Pokemon, and have even said they'll dislike the whole evolution line if the Pokemon ends up standing on two legs. But is this hate justified? Well, not really. Firstly, opinions are always subjective. Just because someone hates bipedal Pokemon, that doesn't mean everyone does. Secondly, most Pokemon have really good designs. Hating something just because it isn't what you wanted or expected doesn't mean it's bad. Most of the hate comes from false leaks, which often make people expect something that won't happen. Other people think a Pokemon standing on two legs makes them too human-like. This makes sense, but it isn't an argument. Pokemon are not animals, even if they are based on them. In the Pokemon universe, humans and Pokemon are closely related. So Pokemon who resemble humans is only to be expected. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but some of my favorite Pokemon walk on two legs or resemble humans. That doesn't mean they're bad. It means everyone will have a different opinion. It's time to post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about an upcoming sword in Genshin Impact. The new sword will be a 4 star, and it is called Toukabou Shigure. It will be based on an oiled paper parasol, but it is specifically based on karakasa-obake. For those of you who don't know, karakasa-obake is a Japanese yokai. It is an oiled paper parasol that came to life, and it's known for its big popping out eye and tongue. Because of this, the new Genshin Impact sword has a moving eye and a sticking out tongue. It's post time! For today's blog post, I will once again be talking about eeveelutions for Pokemon. I have mentioned eeveelutions quite a few times on here. But with the release of the newest games, fans were once again disappointed to find there were no new evolutions for Eevee. Fans have been asking for new eeveelutions for almost a decade now, only to be disappointed. Although some fans think this is because Eevee only has evolutions for the special types, this would still mean the dragon-type is missing an eeveelution. Along with this, fans would still be disappointed if that was the case. With what we have now, the Eevee evolution line feels incomplete. Even if we got a new Pokemon line that mirrors the Eevee line, fans of Eevee would still be unhappy. It's unclear why we haven't gotten any new Eevee evolutions, since there are so many types to work with. Many fans have made adorable fan-made eeveelutions that could easily become official Pokemon. They line up with the rest of the eeveelutions well; which means it isn't impossible to make Eevee evolutions for the remaining types. Despite this, it's unlikely we'll get any new eeveelutions soon. Hopefully we'll see some in the DLC for Scarlet and Violet, or maybe even the next generation. Whatever the case may be, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

New day, new post! With the recent release of the new Pokemon Squishmallows, I think it's time to talk about the somewhat ridiculous prices of official Pokemon products. You see, Pokemon has just released some new Pokemon Squishmallows; each of which cost $30 a piece. $30 for a Squishmallow is already overpriced, but looking at the official Pokemon Center website will show you these prices are nothing new. For example, Pokemon-themed sweaters on the official website usually cost about $50 each. Along with this, the special life sized Pokemon plushies can cost hundreds of dollars. Even the small 13-15 inch plushies can cost around $36. Although not all of their products are like this, quite a few of them are. Prices like this make it difficult for official merchandise to be more accessible to all fans; which is why many fans get unofficial merchandise instead. Those who can afford to get the official merchandise often get quite a lot of it, but that doesn't mean the Pokemon company isn't losing money. Even though one look at the crunchyroll store can show you that these prices are common for all anime-themed items, it's even more apparent with the Pokemon merchandise. This is most likely because there's so much of it. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I'm sure many fans would say these prices are perfectly reasonable, but I'm also sure those fans can afford to buy it. I know many fans have been very disappointed because they had to miss out on something they couldn't afford. Since Pokemon is aimed towards kids, the higher prices mean their parents will be less likely to be able to afford these things for their children. It's time to post! Since Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have been out for a couple of days now, there's a new Pokemon I'd like to talk about. This new Pokemon is Gholdengo, which is the evolution of Gimmighoul. Gimmighoul is a very small and cute Pokemon, but the same can't be said for its evolution. Its evolution is pretty big, and its golden color is kind of obnoxious. Not only this, but other fans have pointed out its similarities between the cereal mascot Cinnamon as well as string cheese. I have to say I agree with them, since you can't see it as anything else once it's pointed out. This is one of the most disappointing evolutions I've seen in a while; which is a shame because I really liked Gimmighoul on its own. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. What time is it? It's time to talk about Genshin Impact's gacha system again! Yay! I know I've talked about it quite a few times in the past, but there's quite a few things to talk about. For this post, I'll be talking about how there isn't ever enough time to save your primogems between character banners. Although it's true you can easily skip banners, this becomes difficult when they're always releasing new characters or re-running old favorites. Without fully knowing the banner schedule, it's impossible to know whether you should skip this banner or try to get the character you want. Since banners usually don't run for very long, you won't have time to rebuild your primogem stash even if you skip a banner or two. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I've found myself missing out on more and more new and old characters because of the quick banners and lack of primogems, and I know other players are having the same problem. However, I don't think this problem will be fixed any time soon. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's time to post! While listening to Vocaloid songs earlier as almost all otakus do, I stumbled upon a producer I haven't listened to in a while. That producer, is MJQ-P. Although most of their songs are from 8 to 10 years ago, they've made more music as recently as a year ago. Their songs are on both soundcloud and youtube, but I normally use youtube so I can see the lyrics. But when I tried to go to their channel today to see their other songs, I was told it doesn't exist. Their songs are on youtube, and they do show up when you search for them. But when you go to their channel, it doesn't even show up. This is very strange, since both the youtube and soundcloud accounts are still up. Although I don't know this producer personally, I wanted to talk about this strange glitch for others who might be fans of this somewhat obscure artist. For those of you who have never heard of them before, I highly recommend their music. I'll be including the song I first heard by them, but they have many more to choose from. Enjoy!

It's November 18th! That means Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have officially been released! This means many people finally get to experience the games for themselves. For those who can't or don't want to, they can now see all of the new Pokemon and watch others play it. Although it was tough not to get spoiled with all of the leaks coming out, now everyone will get to experience it in their own ways. But for those who can't play it yet, good luck avoiding all of the new spoilers. To be respectful, I won't go into any details about the new games or Pokemon in this post. New day, new post! While looking at hair colors for a Genshin Impact character list, I noticed how little variety there really was. I was going to list characters with purple hair, only to find there were just four. Most of the characters have blonde, white, brown, or blue hair. Every other color is severely lacking. Even new characters often fall into these categories. It's hard to tell why this is, but hopefully we'll get more variety in the future. With the other things we're missing, it will take a while to catch up. We've just gotten the dendro element, so there aren't many dendro characters so far. Things like this means a lack of color variety isn't exactly the focus point of most fans. After all, we still haven't even gotten a small boy or hydro claymore character. I just wanted to talk about this because I find the lack of colors a bit odd. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this somewhat trivial blog post!

It's time for yet another new blog post! With new bipedal or human-like Pokemon being added every new generation, it brings up a question people often ignore. That question is: can Pokemon fall in love with humans? It's been casually stated previously that some Pokemon used to be people, and Pokemon and humans share the same ancestors. With the more human-like Pokemon, one can't help but wonder. It hasn't really been confirmed one way or another, which is most likely because Pokemon were originally supposed to be like animals. However, this isn't really the case anymore. There are quite a few human-like Pokemon now, and some Pokemon who even used to be human. If Pokemon and humans can fall in love, are they outcasts? Are they ridiculed for it? Or is it considered normal? If they can't, why can't they? Pokemon who were humans wouldn't like other Pokemon, they would most likely still be attracted to humans. The same can go for the more human-like Pokemon. Sure they've always been Pokemon, but they're not exactly the same as other Pokemon who are more like animals. This may be a really weird subject, but the question is bound to pop up when you add these details. Given what we've been told, I believe there's some sort of weird line for what is and isn't allowed. Like human-like Pokemon with human-like intelligence or formerly human Pokemon might be okay, but more animal-like Pokemon aren't. Or it could be no Pokemon are allowed. Or, on the more horrifying side, maybe all Pokemon are allowed. Whatever the case, I think I've thought about this enough for one day. These are mostly just my thoughts on this topic, anyways. Splatoon has spoken! Water-type is the best starter Pokemon type! The most recent splatfest for Splatoon 3 put the three starter Pokemon types against each other. Although it was a close match, water-type ended up being the winner. I personally just choose whichever starter I like best regardless of type, and I know other people do too. But according to the splatfest, there is a favorite. This may be based on which type has the most-liked Pokemon, or it could be based on the type itself. The world may never know. But what we do know, is that the splatfest winner is always the right answer; regardless of personal opinion. That is, of course, a joke. However, somehow the water-type does seem like the obvious winner in this case. I'm not sure why, but it feels right. Even though I have favorites from every type. But, I digress. Studio Ghibli has partnered up with Star Wars! It was a surprise collaboration no one was expecting, and fans were overjoyed to hear it was happening. As of recently, a collaboration between Studio Ghibli and Star Wars has produced a short film called Zen - Grogu And Dust Bunnies. The film is three minutes long, and it features Grogu from The Mandalorian. Along with this, it also features the soot sprites from movies such as Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro. The collaboration was originally teased on Twitter, and it was released after just a few days of waiting. This may be unfortunate for some fans, but this special short is a Disney+ exclusive. Tom And Jerry is now an anime! That's right, this beloved cat and mouse duo have crossed over to Japan! Apparently yesterday, November 11th, was cheese day in Japan. So to celebrate it, Cartoon Network Japan aired a marathon of Tom And Jerry episodes. During this marathon, the new Tom And Jerry animated series made its debut. The new series will include Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy. It will follow a similar theme to the original series, but in a much cuter and lighter way. It's unknown whether or not the new Tom And Jerry series will be released outside of Japan, but many fans are looking forward to its release. For everyone else, I'll be talking about Dunsparce's evolution. Recently Dunsparce's evolution was leaked online. No one knew what it would be, but many fans were very excited. Fans of Dunsparce have been waiting for an evolution for many years. But their excitement soon turned to disappointment and possibly horror as it was revealed Dunsparce would be turning into, itself. But bigger. Yes, as Dunsparce evolves, it simply gets more segments. Although this hasn't officially been stated yet, it will be rather funny if it is true. It may be a bit disappointing for the fans, but it would keep in line with Dunsparce as a Pokemon. This would also be the first time a Pokemon only gets bigger instead of changing during its evolution. But, that's only if this leak is true. In the meantime, we'll just have to wait and see. But to everyone's surprise, and perhaps horror, someone has leaked the entire game. That's right, the whole game has been leaked over a week before its official release. Although this is great news for people who don't want to wait, the rapidly spreading leaks are spoiling it for everyone else. Not only this, but the unexpected leaks could jeopardize the release of the games. It's also just not a good idea to leak the games or play them on stream without permission. It can result in legal action, and it's not fair to everyone who wanted to play the games themselves. If someone wants to stream the games after their release, that's fine. But it wouldn't hurt them to just wait a few days for the sake of others. Doing it this way is just selfish. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's post time! With the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet just over a week away, many leaks are spreading quickly online. This is because many people have gotten the game early. However, I won't be talking about leaks today. Instead, I'd like to talk about official reveals. Even though the games are very close to release, we're still missing a lot of Pokemon. We have yet to officially see any of the evolutions for the starter Pokemon, and there's only been a small handful of Pokemon revealed so far. This is pretty unusual as far as Pokemon reveals go. It could be to encourage people to play the new games, but I've found that not releasing Pokemon often does the opposite. If people play the new games and dislike the Pokemon, they're less likely to look forward to new games. On the other hand, they're more likely to want to play the games if they get to see the Pokemon and get attached to them first. Sometimes it takes some time to warm up to new Pokemon, and fans don't get that chance when they're introduced to many new Pokemon all at once. There have been quite a few Pokemon in the past that were originally disliked, but slowly became fan favorites after being used in the games. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's unlikely we'll get many more Pokemon revealed officially before the release of the games. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

3, 2, 1, post time! For today's blog post, I will be talking about why I don't like the Pokemon Cubchoo. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I cannot like a Pokemon who is dripping with snot. I've always thought Cubchoo was really cute on its own, but it's impossible for me to get over the fact that it's dripping. It's disgusting, and unhygienic. Along with this, it only has one evolution; which I don't like the design of. So it isn't even worth getting just for its evolution. I may be being hard on this little guy, but it's just because I really wanted to like this Pokemon. Had it not been for the awful snot dripping from its nose, I would've loved Cubchoo. I personally really like bear cub pokemon, and Cubchoo could've been a really cute one. That doesn't necessarily mean it's not cute, since I'm sure some people can get over this detail. But I just can't; especially when it's brought up in the Pokedex entries. But, those are just my thoughts on this topic. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post! It's time to post! Today's blog post will be about Kazuaki and Kazuaki-kun from Hatoful Boyfriend. However, there will be major spoilers for the games if you haven't played them. Now then, let's get on with it! For those of you who don't know but wanted to read on anyways, the Kazuaki Nanaki we originally meet in the game is not Kazuaki. He is, in fact, Hitori Uzune pretending to be Kazuaki. So for fans of the one and only real Kazuaki, I've decided to talk about some differences between them so they can be told apart. The first main difference is the fact that Hitori sleeps excessively when he is Kazuaki. This is most likely because of the stress he's usually under. Because of this, all merchandise for him will always have his eyes closed to show he's sleeping. On the other hand, the real Kazuaki is very sensitive. So all of his merchandise will show him crying instead. The other difference is their names. The original Kazuaki is called Kazuaki-kun instead of just Kazuaki. This was originally done with one of the books to let fans know it was a different Kazuaki. Since it worked so well, the name stuck. Another name used for Kazuaki-kun is The King. This name is often used for merchandise and things pertaining to the current games because this is how he was introduced in Holiday Star. Although there generally isn't much of anything for Kazuaki-kun, he's one of my favorite characters. I know others like him as well, so I wanted to do this blog post for anyone who may be confused. The new Pokemon has been revealed! Earlier today, the Pokemon Gimmighoul was officially revealed. This Pokemon was teased just yesterday with its appearance in Pokemon Go. Fans immediately started theorizing about who this Pokemon could be, but they didn't have to wait long. This little Pokemon hides itself within a chest, and it moves very slowly while inside its heavy chest. However, it also has a roaming form. In this form, Gimmighoul carries around a single gold coin. It's very timid in this form, and it runs away as soon as anyone gets close. It is also a ghost-type Pokemon, and it can control people with its ghost energy. It then makes them collect coins for it, and it only does this in its chest form. Even though Gimmighoul has a chest form and a roaming form, I will only be including a picture of its roaming form below so you all can see it better. Enjoy!

There's a new coin Pokemon! However, we actually don't know much about it right now. It showed up randomly in Pokemon Go, and it will follow the player character when they spin special golden pokestops. It seems to be some sort of small bipedal ant with a coin on its back, and it was released with an odd website. You can't currently interact with this new Pokemon, and it isn't on any of the official websites yet. Given the strange website, many people think more will be revealed about it soon. Why doesn't Zhongli acknowledge Venti in Genshin Impact? Well, that's what I'll be talking in today's blog post! Although this seems like an odd question, it's a valid one. Zhongli often talks about how lonely he is now that he's alone. As one of the original archons, he's much older than everyone else. But this isn't true. He still has Venti, who is also an original archon. However, he largely ignores him. It's even been revealed that he used to throw boulders at him, since some of the boulders in the Serenitea Pot mention it. But why is this? You'd think he would be glad to have someone who shares the memories of osmanthus wine. He may just find Venti annoying or childish, but this is a strange reason not to spend time with the only person who shares memories with you. Of course there are other characters like Xiao or Ganyu who have known Zhongli for thousands of years, but Venti is the only archon Zhongli can relate with. I just find it odd that he wouldn't spend time with Venti more often. On the other hand, he may spend time with Venti often; and he only sees him as an acquaintance instead of a close friend. For those of you who don't know, the official hoyolab website hosts Genshin Impact web events. Although some of them give you primogems or other similar rewards, there are some events that just aren't fair. You see, events like the current Hilichurls' Treasure Trove have you earn certain things like keys or coins by doing various tasks on the website. Once you have 100, you can trade them for primogems or other rewards. That sounds fine, right? Wrong. There's actually a very limited amount of primogems being given out. Not for just your account, but for everyone. Only a few thousand people are allowed to get primogems, so they're usually all gone by the time you save up enough materials. If you want a chance at still getting primogems, there is a gacha-like system. But if you don't get what you want, then you're wasting your materials before the next reward reset. But, these are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. I have seen other players complain about this as well, so I decided to talk about it. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

It's post time! Today's blog post will be about Scaramouche's new design in Genshin Impact. For those of you who don't know, Scaramouche has been given a redesign. Although most fans are just glad that he's finally playable, some fans are angry about his new design. A lot of fans love his new design, but you'll never please everyone. I for one really like his new design. He's finally separated himself from his history, and he's being himself. Had he been electro, he would've just been further connected with the mother who abandoned him. It's true we already have quite a few anemo boys, but him having his own design and element makes him his own person. Besides, changing your clothes doesn't make you a new person. The new blue colors also fit him really well, and it shows how versatile he can be. But, those are mostly just my thoughts on this topic. It's time for another new blog post! For today's blog post, I will be talking about....a huge spoiler for Genshin Impact! So proceed with caution! Now then, on with the post! So, is Lesser Lord Kusanali really Greater Lord Rukkhadevata? Although the answer should obviously be yes with the information we've been given, many fans have been debating. Logically she is, but she also isn't. You see, since she lost her memories, she also lost who she was. She herself sees herself as someone separate from Rukkhadevata. So in a sense, she is different. If she ever regains her memories, she may become herself again. But as of now, Nahida is only Kusanali. That's what everyone seems to think, anyways. I can agree with this theory, since Nahida herself refers to herself as someone else. These are mostly just my thoughts on this topic too, along with other things I've picked up from other fans. Nonetheless, I hope you all still enjoyed this blog post!

Tomorrow is Halloween! So for today's blog post, I will be telling you all a spooky ghost story. It is still anime related, since I'll be telling you the story of Hanako-San. This urban legend appears often throughout anime, and her bob cut hair, red skirt, and white shirt are highly recognizable because of it. No one really knows who Hanako-San is, or how this urban legend came to be. Some say she's just a little girl, while others say she's an inhuman creature just waiting to spirit unsuspecting people away. She's known to haunt the girl's bathrooms of Japanese schools, and she's said to appear if you knock on her door. But be careful if you knock, knock, knock on her bathroom door. You never know what lies beyond the barrier. Happy early Halloween everyone.

I'm back with more Pixar content! Yes, it's hard to believe I could make one Pixar post on this blog, let alone two. After all, you don't exactly think "anime" when you look at Toy Story. But surprise, now you can! As it turns out, there is actually official Toy Story anime content. For the Pixar short Toy Story That Time Forgot, a fake opening was made for the Battlesaurs television show. It was made to mimic the style of 80's anime as well, and it was exclusively included on the blu-ray/DVD release of this short. If you somehow look at this opening and think "that's not anime", then you'd be wrong. Because this brief opening was actually animated by Studio Trigger themselves. As always, I will be including this little clip below so you guys can see it yourselves. However, I would like to mention that this link will not take you to Pixar's official youtube account, since the clip was exclusive to DVD. Enjoy!

What time is it? Post time! Today's blog post will be about the new Pokemon Greavard. This Pokemon was just recently released, and it's a ghost dog. Obviously this also makes it a ghost-type Pokemon. This little pup is supposed to be very friendly and easy to befriend. Even a little attention will gain its loyalty, but you can't play with it too much. Even though Greavard is very loving, the candle on its head will slowly drain the life force of others if they spend too much time with it. Greavard's jaws are also strong enough to shatter bone, but it actually spends most of its time resting peacefully underground. The candle on its head will stick out of the ground while it's underground as well, and Greavard will pop out at unsuspecting people if they come to investigate it.
